It is in Crateria, at the top of the shaft filled with space pirates that you climb after you get the morph ball. I noticed it a couple of playthroughs ago and meant to ask if the door actually had a function, but I forgot to. Please let me know.

Yes, that is the exit to a hidden room. Try looking for the entrance... there just might be a piece of candy.

Super Secret Area - Dead Ahead!
For a hint: There's a small platform that you can stand on to get to the door you posted.  Is there another one like it in the main shaft?
