so apparently after dating for over 2 years, my girlfriend never knew what the hell my friend and I were talking about when we were quoting the GI Joe thing, so I showed her tonight what they are. Hey guys! I've watched speedruns on and off for a few years but after stumbling upon AGDQ's VODs for the first time ever and discovering that a bunch of users are trying to mod all 3 Prime games, I'm here and hopefully I can help contribute to the project in some way.

2 new members in 2 days? What madness is this? It's almost as if some event happened recently to renew interest in the Metroid franchise, like offering one or more titles digitally at a reduced price. But that would be crazy.

Hello!
I am looking forward to speedrun MP2. And I was told to go here, so here I am.
The biggest problem I have so far is that I don´t know where to start, so I´d gladly appreciate any link to a guide or a detailed easy route to begin with (pretty much anything that helps), to get into all that stuff and go into bigger stuff after I learned the basics.

Regarding myself, I am ED´s / Aran;Jaegers´s brother and happen to speedrun F-zero GX.
Btw. I´m from Germany.

I dunno if the main page is up to date, but if you post around the Echoes boards there are several helpful people who know literally everything about it that will steer you right.

Welcome! MP2 is my favorite prime game. I have not really tried to speed run it, but it's nice to see other people who are into the game.
