Well, I thought I might introduce myself too, my name is Erik Fogelström, and I live in Sweden, on Gotland, I enjoy playing metroid, and right now, that's the only videogames I play. I wouldn't consider myself a super player, even though I've got some pretty neat times, I think.
I'm 15 years old, and I've been into metroid since Super Metroid, which I bought together with my brother in 1994 or 1995, can't remember, it was very expensive, that's all I can remember from buying it. :D Our mom had to pay like 1/4 of the game, and now I'm more than happy that she did. Well, like you care. (I bet someone will quote that). Anyways, that's all from me right now, I think I introduced myself now, and btw, I'm a guy. ;P
Hey, I'm Zack_Strife and I've been around for almost 2 months now and I got to say, this place is awsome! I'm mostly on the Fusion and General Metroid forums and if any of you guys know pkmn_2005 and read some of his posts, I'm the friend he's talking about. (We go to the same school)
Umm... hello. My name is don, and I live in place with the initials ss. You'd never guess that, eh? Prime 2 is my first Metroid. First game on the GCN in fact. I can't believe how many times I've played thru it, and still haven't tired of it. Speed-running and sequence-breaking have provided the main interest as of late. (I'm no threat to any records unless SDA decides to create an "old-timers" class, even then...)
The Wiki and speed-tricks topic have provided many hours of MP2 "replay value" for me. Thanks all.
I guess I should find an avatar to replace the minature night-camo one I'm running currently. Let's see, where did I put those avatars?
