Woah, whaddya know.... there IS an "introduction" topic. Missed it before. Eh, well, I have less than 10 posts anyway, so it's not too late :P
In either case, as you can most likely see from the 'poster name' type thing on the left, I am Kabutroid. Those of you who read online comic strips may have at one point or another come across Planet Zebeth, a creation of mine.
As I've said in a seperate topic however, I believe that Maru Mari is still quite a bit more popular than Zebeth (given internet searches for 'Metroid comic'), so I wouldn't be surprised if many people have never heard of it before.
Note: If you take up the task of reading Zebeth, read from the beginning (or the beginning of a storyline). It's very storyline-driven, so it might not be funny in one or two comic gaps... but when reading it as you would a book or something.
BUT... enough about the damn comic. In regards to me, I basically am unable to view my own site from work (damn surfcontrol), but can strangely enough view Metroid2002, despite 95% of any other Metroid site being blocked. Therefore, when at work, you can probably expect me to be kicking around here :P
In either case, I'm glad to be a part of the forum, and hope to blend into the other Metroid fanatics over time :}

That's because M2K2 is just too cool for surfcontrol to handle.
I would if the Archive button actually worked. Kabu forgot a closing quote mark, resulting in the following tags being part of the alt text. And can the icons be any more cryptic? Anybody using Firefox or another browser that doesn't display alt text as a tooltip would have to randomly click icons until they got to where they wanted to go.

Uhh, where is this missing closing quote? I just tested the homepage and several random archive pages, and it all works for me.
Otherwise, you make a good point with the alt text. Methinks I might put title tags into the images on the homepage itself, but not the archive pages (since that would take god knows how long).
Also, I sorta wanted the site to look "metroidy". In no Metroid game has it been obvious where to go, except in Fusion, or the Prime's if you have hint mode on :P
EDIT: Awright, added the title tags to everything on the homepage. Hope that makes your navigation a tad easier :}
New guy posting his first post. . .been a long time visitor to the site, and finally got the time to join and maybe do something productive for the site that has been responsible for many sleepless nights playing various metroid games X_X Don't know what else to say at this moment, but hey aren't all the new people like that? :D (hope I put this intro in the right thread, I'd ahte to be strung up in town square for all to see)
