At the moment, I could probably only find likely spots for sequence breaks, which I seem to have been doing all through prime 2, but any sort of tutorial so I could learn how to try them on my own might be nice ^_^

Have you checked out the wiki that's our Prime 2 page during the inital rush? I find stuff to do there, and I don't have any sequence breaking skills either (at least not yet...).

Hi, everybody, I'm Saber in Blue, it looks interesting here. 

Heh, back from six-month-long hiatus from M2K2.  I can't make any guarantees, but I might be back as a regular.  Looks like this site has really been picking up!  I've been mostly on my webcomic (See sig) in the meatime, but you people seem to have more than doubled in member size and board size.  Nice to see you all again, and it seems that everyone that I left is still posting, and we've gained a new status title in my absence...heheh...

Hello.  Been a longtime lurker to this board.  I kept meaning to register, but kept forgetting to or got to lazy ^^;;

I've been a longtime fan of the Metroid series.  Still remember playing the original on my NES over and over when I was a child.  Favorite one currently is still Super Metroid.

I've been coming this site for awhile now.  I think I first found this site around when it was discovered in MP that the charge beam could be skipped via some ludicrous bomb jumping up the spiderball track to get artifact, and getting early space jump was done by using a dbjm off of Samus's ship (man, it took me forever to get that for the first time).  Anyways, that's also around when I first started seeing speedruns.  I think the first one I ever watched was Red Scarlet's 100% 1:00 run, and was quite impressed, and got me digging out my old console to see how I could do. 

At any rate, I just finished MP2E, so I guess now it's time to explore sequence breaking for it >_<

With the advent of the DS and the PSP let us all fervently pray that  the 3d phenomenon does not strike the beauty and goodness that is 2d from history.

PSP and DS are two portable systems built with 3D capabilities at the forefront. Don't hold your breath for a massive 2D revival anytime soon.

Exactly, I'm hoping that with the imminent death of the GBA, which is 2D's only--for all practical purposes--stomping ground at this point, that 2D won't cease to be a meaningful presence in the gaming industry.
