Hi, I'm new, but I've been looking at sequence breaking tricks and speed runs for about a year now at M2k2. I have SBed Metroid Prime, but I always get the items I skipped later because I still cannot dash jump across the gap in the Main Quarry :D so technically I stink. Still, plasma beam before Thardus is cool. I have beaten ZM, Fusion, and Prime, but own none of them. I borrow games too much. :(
I actually was able to beat the SA-X before I even tried to beat Arachnus! My friend had a 20 hour (he left his SP on and plugged in for a day by accident) 100% file which he allowed me to play. I practiced and finally beat the game! :D Then I borrowed another friend's GBA and Fusion and beat it from beginning to end. Through the help of M2k2 and GameFaqs, I have achieved 100% several times, but never under 2 hours. My closest was 2:01
and I never got any closer. I didn't like ZM quite as much, but beat it in 2:30 by borrowing another friend's SP and ZM, then beating it between 11:45 and 3:00 AM (I died a lot) but I didn't get much sleep. Prime is a different story. I borrowed it from a friend and beat it over the course of a summer. Then I returned it and borrowed it from another friend to sequence break it. I have recently returned it and have (again) no Metroid games in my house :( .
