What metroid games you can IBJ in?
I can: M2,SM,MZM,And most surprisingly the game that You least expected: SSBM.
Yup,It's possible,I've only made it in Fourside,Battlefield, and Kongo jungle N64. But anyway,it's kinda cool.

Care to elaborate on how one would do that? The only bombjumping in SSBM I know of is lay one, lay another and get bumped by first one.

Wouldn't it be quicker and more usefull to jump, its not like ball bombing into the sky KO is very usefull. Anyways it is cool that you can  IBJ in SSBM, I never thought it was possible.

I think it's meant for recovery, which is what Samus' bombs are most useful for.

No,no. Infinite bomb jumping means infinite bomb jumping!

Fourside: Go standing to the UFO,And wait until the Ufo starts to flash,Now,lay a bomb and about a second before it explodes,lay another. Repeat this 'till you're done


Battlefield: I'm not so sure about this but i think that Jump,Double-jump,And start rapidly holding down and tapping B. Note: This may not always work,because in adventure mode the wireframe battle is Low gravitated,what makes it possible only in there.


Kongo jungle: Jump to the barrel,and boom yourself up,then start laying bombs as in fourside.

Actually, the best I've been able to do is hover with bombs.  Pretty nifty.  They're really useful for recovery if you do a Horizontal style one successfully.
