I'm not sure if this is new, but here's a speed trick.

In Tourian, right before the room with mother brain, go into the save room and run to the left until you begin boosting. When you reach the door, duck and jump up onto the elevated floor with the door on it, shoot open the door, and run inside as quickly as you can. When inside,(the zesibites must be destroyed before this can be done) jump onto the platform that held the first zesibite and shinespark to the left. You'll soar through the room very quickly, until you reach the last zesibite, where you'll hit a wall and fall into the lava, but you can get back up easily.

Sorry, I'm not sure if those things are called zesibites, and this has probably been done before. If it has, sorry for wasting your time.

I've done it on low%. if you hold right while shine sparking you should grab the ledge, or you could just wall jump.

and you can shark from the previous room, just make sure you're going through the top of the door
