Yeah, I either do that or the "one at a time" mentioned at the beginning of this thread.
I get a 404 error when I try to download those movies. Not much of a problem since I got the bomb timing right almost on the first try ;)
My starting of the IBJ is a little off. But after a DBJ I just Bomb when I hear the last explosion.

Only the first jump gives me trouble. I drop one bomb at a time (2 to begin with) so for me its

DBJ took a while to get used to. I find that once started you have to hold the D-Pad in the opposite direction you wish to go in. I can go from IBJ to DBJ but its awkward at times.

Dunno if it's a Sequence break but something I find is:

First trip to Norfair, on the way to Crateria before you get the power grip there's a ledge with missiles on it, instead of waiting till you get Power Grip you can IBJ to get it! It's what I do every time now
I just keep tapping the a button until about 5 minutes later I get up there. It works usually. Unless I'm going for speed...which I haven't yet so.
How does sequence breaking in any way affect the Chozo Statues? For example, does it still point to you to the Varia Suit if that where you usually need to go next even if you already have it?
Each Chozo statue is programmed to point to a specific location, regardless of the circumstances.
So I guess there's no real point to access them if you don't have to (can you skip some?) then right?
PAGE BREAKER
Ready and willing.

Well, you can use them for refills.
That's true. Isn't it a little strange that they didn't adapt the statues when they were so keen on all the sequence breaking that are in this game? Doubt it would've taken that much effort ;)
It might just be me, but it seemed to me that if you got the item that the chozo statue points to, then the chozo statue would be sitting down next/first time you run into it.
Not impossible
just highly unlikely

That is correct.
The fact that the statues sit down after being used explains
Why in Super Metroid all the statues are sitting down, with a few exceptions.

After getting the Power Grip I've made a habit of IBJing to the top of the room before the statue rises up fully :P Saves a bit of time.

There's SOOO many items in the game you can get by IBJ!!!
