kill kraid with screw attack. it takes awhile but it is rewarding in the end. i didnt get damaged once

Ehh... Missiles are faster. I've tried Screw Attack on Ridley, and it just takes forever. So I use my missiles. The damage doesn't matter all that much with the E-Tank in the room.

I use bombs on Kraid. I could never beat him with missles. If the Screw Attack takes "awhile" I wouldn't do it because bombs are faster in the first place and the E-Tank in the room makes the point concerning damage moot.

I suggest having at least 4 full E-Tanks and the Varia if you bomb Kraid. Also get the E-Tank in the room if your health is lower than 50.

2 Etanks and no Varia is fine. Hell, 1 and then getting the extra one in his room is probably ok.

My bomb placement really, really sucks too.

I think I'll stick with the ram yourself into him and use missiles strat.

Yeah 1 e tank is enough with the varia suit, as long as you have full or almost full energy.

I seem to remember simply grabbing the e-tank in his room putting me up to 2 and just bombing away. I don't think he ever came close to killing me because I had the varia by then.
