I('d) like to watch (some MP3 runs)
Yeah, no mockball =  :(

Don't make me  :(

:x
What luck, there's french fry stuck in my beard.
I say wait for the DS when they have enough buttons to work with.  Having you run all the time would definetly change the game a lot, and not in a good way.
I think it "could" be done on the GBA, but should probably be a bonus on a GC disc such as Prime 2, or on a Metroid compilation GC disc.  Enough buttons to make it work, that way.
Updated graphics, only. Also, it might be a nice idea to wait for the DS. 1.More buttons. 2.They could furthur update the graphics.
...having to hold select and other buttons would mean running and doing stuff like super missles at the same time wouldnt be possible, and that would be just plain annoying...
nate, how the <insert explicative here> did u get over the n00b bridge without dash?! i got stuck there too, i was playing on an emulator, so i didnt even know that button exsisted...then, i accidentaly put my fingers on the wrong buttons, and instead of shooting, i ran O_O

Lol, didn't know you really did already buy a car.
Oh so now you're gonna show us pics of a new car.

I think I read somewhere that you did that, so I just had to try, and I managed to do it.

After 3 hours.
Viking
Precursor

O__o

Seriously, you have to put that under "other" on the Super Metroid section ^__^
I remember trying that so many times...

Before I knew about the run button =P

hahahah, awesome. then i guess it's too late to avoid calling it 'other: the noob bridge challenge' and make other people waste their lives trying it. :P
soaking through
I think this is conclusive video evidence that Nate is crazy.  Utterly and completely crazy.

And yeah, I second the motion that this should be in the Super Metroid section under "other".

Ready and willing.
^&@#*%! control scheme...

The ONLY comfortable feeling control assignments on the SNES controller are RUINED because the game REFUSES to assign aim up/down to ANYTHING but L or R!!!!!
lol no way
Uuhh, it would be really sick otherwise. Where would you have then, B and X? Come on.

And by really sick I mean even more sick than before.

A.

Honestly, it's not that bad. It's a hell of a better when it allows you to put dash on L, so you don't have to push three main buttons at once regularly (which as I said, is hell).
lol no way
Yeah, putting dash on L is standard for me, then just aim up on R... no aim down though.

That's what I worked out, actually. I realized aiming down wasn't as useful as I thought.

Agreed.
I think that they should just update the graphics 'cause I haven't played the original yet (And probably never will, since my parents usually don't like the idea of me owning more than one console) and I would like to know what it's like without bad graphics.
I also agree with Kennyman

Idea: Maybe the guys that are making Metroid Prime: 2D could remake it, or is that illegal?
