I'm sorry to create a topic for this, and can't help feeling I've seen them around before. I was actually quite unsure whether I was breaking any rules here, so I checked.

Essentially, is via Bannerbomb the best way to enable the use of externally downloaded SNES ROMs on my Wii? If so, what do I do with it?


I'm feeling quite the noob here, but I'm quite willing to give up a small part of my reputation for the information in an understandable form. Oh well, thanks ahead guys.

Well, seeing as this is a metroid-specific board, it would probably be a good idea to google for a site that deals with your specific issue, as we here have no affiliation with basic mod concepts on the wii...(I think).

I recall you posted a topic about the same issue a few months ago. :/ (like 5-12 months ago)

And... like Tax mentioned. You should use google first. I'm very sure you can read up on wii homebrew on any homebrew wiki/site.

You may want to check this site for help and to get started.

To get started, you need to install homebrew channel with bannerbomb, and then download snes9x and install it in your homebrew channel. A link for snes9x has all the tutorials you need to load roms on your wii.

If you want, you can download Homebrew Browser to download apps without using your computer.

Well, I've just managed it, thanks.

I had tried Google first, in 99% of issues Google helps, but this is one of the cases where "good" pages are hard to find :/
