Besides which, AJ uses the method shown in the first clip linked in his 10% hard run, posted on SDA.  Part 4 is the relevant one, but of course you should watch the whole thing. ;)

I've seen both of those,  I don't like the Cheesing Strat because he doesnt seem to do anything when I'm under him, meaning I can't restock, and when I get away from him, I get totally killed.  Ajbolt way works very well, until Ridley uses his tail, then I get crushed.  I just don't see why everyone thinks he's so easy.

Until recently I couldn't kill Ridley until my 4th or 5th try on an average any%.

Tail swing = YOU GO AND WALL JUMP or sit there and die.

He usually shoots out big fire balls after a bit, it takes a lot of patience, but it's much easier than Aj's way.

Shoot missiles slooooow with the cheesing strategy, or he'll go mad with his tail. If you use the cheesing strategy, he won't use his tail at all. As for the fireballs, just wait for them. Trust me, they'll be there for you.
