YeY!!! Thanks for your help maybe now i shall finally finish the game (probably not). What would we do without google?

EDIT: Urm i dont mean to be picky but i meant one where it doesnt tell you where all the items and metroids are. Sorry i shoul have said that in the first place.

Yeah, I have trouble with this game. Not only from I don't know where to go, but using the Space jump to go up giant walls is starting to really piss me off.

I didn't google to get to Gamefaqs. I googled to get to a Metroid II map. Gamefaqs just happened to be first on the list.

I have one more thing i need help with: Does anyone have any advice for defeating the last evalution of metroids?The ones that suck the life out of you. I dont know what they are called but they dont have arms and legs. Im sure you can gues what im on about.Oh and forget the map thing, both of them have metroids and items labelled on them, Im doing ok now without it and i strangely know most of the time where i am going?!? Maybe Ive just got more intelligent over these 4 or 5 years.....i dunno.... but i still cant defeat even one of those flickerbating metroids!

Freeze them with the ice beam, then fire 5 missiles into them while they are still frozen.

Thanks but I already figured that out before you posted. Thanks for everyones help so now I am just defeating the last 9 metroids before i face the Metroid Queen.I have yet another problem! So i got to the last boss not much problem and she killed me in about 5 seconds flat! Is their anyone who can giva a metroid fan(atic) a little hand? Anything will do, thanks in advance.

Uh, that's the FIRST stage of a metroid... you know, the ones that appear in every other metroid game.

Well on metroid 2 its THERE IS A DIFFERENCE! the first ones that you encounter at the start of the game just float around and fly into you sometimes, whereas the ones at the end of the game suck your life away very quikly! Game, Set and Match
