17min 22 sec. beat it... please.................. I can handle narpassword in 4min xx second. but thats narpasword..

I've discoverd a glitch on which allows you to skip most of the game and without using password.

Seems Chris Knight made a faster run and didn't submit it to sda? I'm not sure. He has another run up there.

if I can get the glitch to work, I can easily get perfect run (which means no room for improvement) due to playing it "extensively" on emulator.

The current run have a lot of half second mistakes, if I add them, roughly about half a minute is lost from it already, and once we can replica the preload glitch, we can easily take it out.

they take the boss skipping glitch, so maybe they'll take this one..

I don't really think of the boss skipping trick as a glitch per se, more like something they overlooked when designing the game. I'd be really surprised if they allowed your glitch. Let us know when you find out, now I'm curious.

Uh... if you got everything but not close to where you want to go (think being deep in Norfair, then wanting to go to Kraid, save your game and save like the pain of two to four minutes).

Edit: Fixed a screwup.

Oh yeah I forgot how that worked. I doubt they'd let you do anything other than a single segment run though.
