Yes, and when you jump back up too far and hit her tank, you get hit right back in!  It's stupid how you move when you get it, by just touching.  It should be more like MP, where you get hit by a SWIPE or something and THEN you move.  But, the non-realism is that you get hurt from just touching them.  I can understand the Omega Pirate, Metroid Prime, Phazon Elite, possibly Meta Ridley, and other Phazon-based enemies BEFORE you get the Phazon Suit (Except for Metriod Prime, because he IS raw Phazon), because they are radioactive.  Maybe Meta Ridley.

There is a really easy way to beat MB with the invincible code.  All you have to do is jump into her, and the cheerios and lasers will keep you up and right in front of her.  Just keep holding left.

Um, if you touch the actual brain which you will do if you hold left there, you don't take damage with NAR PASSWORD, but you do get knocked into the pit, if I'm not mistaken.  The best thing to do is to stand outside MB's inner Chamber and fire missiles like you were fighting the last Zebetite however you spell it.

Well, as I said, the combination of the brain and the cheerios/ lasers keeps you right in front of the brainh.  I did it on my forst actual run through the game, just this morning.

Hmmmm, time to blaze through the game and check it out. 

Edit:  Okay, I see.  You really don't need the turrets and rinkas, though.  You just bounce off the lower section of tank and into the higher one, and back and forth.  Very fast and easy.

Metroid's 1 Mother Brain has too much AAAARRGH factor.
I've never played Metroid 2, but the fight with the Queen doesn't look very spectacular.
Super's fight was truly great. After seeing Mother Brain getting owned so easily in the intro scene, seeing her rise out of the floor, then taking a ton of gunfire before proceeding to own you with the Hyper Beam of Doom was a little piece of greatness.
As for Fusion, the SA-X battle was cool but not very challenging. The Omega was just an afterthought, stand and shoot took care of it.
Prime comes in second. It's a pretty good fight, but not as memorable as Mother Brain.

I usually freeze the 2 rinkas and go on untill they are about to unfreeze.. then i kill em and continue! Usually works.

I'm such a Star Wars nut that when Nate said "negative" I automatically read the word in my head all mechanically like how it sounded when Red Leader said "Negative, it didn't go in.  Just impacted on the surface.  "  I love the comm dialogue in that whole scene, man.  It really makes it twice as exciting.
