I'm having trouble skipping a missle tank in sector 4. It's the one in the pump control unit. You have to go past it. I just always land on it. You know, the one right after you lower the water level?

I think you can charge a shinespark on the little pad, then shinespark right after the "scene".

I tried that many times. My shine-charge always runs out. I know it isn't a skill issue. I completed the secret message. If it was possible I would have done it.

Before I ever discovered Sess's run and saw that it was possilbe to do that little jump over it, I tried this. It works fairly well. Just set a bomb about 1 block away from the missile. Roll to the right of the bomb just a little so that you'll be launced up and to the right. As soon as you get launched (or just a little later. Don't wait too late or you won't make it) , hold right and you'll clear it. It has a much largher leeway than jumping.

I had some problems with that as well, my shinecharge always ran out, and I had a tendency to land on the tank. Though I finally managed to get past it without touching it.

Managed to hit the energy tank right before Arachnus and the one in the beginning of the Pirate Gauntlet a few times as well, forcing me to redo the segment.

I'm not sure but this is the one that is hard to jump over because of the low ceilling? I think i bomb jumped over that one too. You're a lot smaller so you won't bumb your head and just fly over it. I really sucked at shinesparking when i did my 1% run so i didn't even try to do it that way.
