Bananas GOOD, Kremlings BAD
Opium, when you left the room, it reloaded with the tracks (probably) because the designers didn't intend you to revisit the room until after spiderball.

Off-topic: Windows dictionary needs to get with it and not count Metroid (<- case in point) terms as misspellings :P
rocks, locks, and invisible blocks
has anyone tested geting an item then seeing if you lose it to dark samus

my friend just got seeker missiles 1st by SW use and he will test soon for anyone who cares
Yeah, it's been tested. Anything you get before the first DS cutscene you lose once you watch it, and it doesn't come back into the game world. Also, the missile expansion in that(?) room doesn't appear until after the cutscene.
rocks, locks, and invisible blocks
so by useing that glitch i know a 6% is kinda out of the question and miles already had 5000 resons why you can use that DS cutseen to get back to 0% and not get over 7% geting your items back but i could see a new low% with some crazy gltching and going back to 0% from that cutseen

my umbrella goes directly to Bankai
it can't be done since you need SA to get light suit and you need Light suit to get the sky temple keys and you need SA to get to the final boss.
find a SW in the sky temple and then we can start taking about a new low%.
rocks, locks, and invisible blocks
isent miles working on a SA-less run?
and i know theres alot in your way but im still trying a route for a low% (like mabey 8%) by useing the DS cutseen then working from there

You can judge from his post the extreme amount of progress that is being made.

Another SW in the Ing Hive Energy Controller, one that doesn't require SA, would also suffice (or one in the Sky Temple, but I don't see that happening). But I still doubt that you could lower the % further using the cutscene reset even if you found one. Assuming you undid every lock and destroyed every obstacle when you had all your other gear, at the very least you would need Bombs, Dark Visor, Spider Ball, Screw Attack, Annihilator Beam, and the Light Suit to finish the game. 6%, so you can't get anything else.

There are several possible complications. The foremost among them, which I'm pretty sure is already a real obstacle, is requiring Boost and/or SJ for Spider and SA. For SA, you may be able to solve the puzzle earlier and just come back to claim it later, but good luck navigating in the SW of Grand Abyss without Space Jump. The Watch Station door may make this impossible: I think you need two jumps to clear it. As for Spider, if the Bomb Guardian is any indicator, you can't just kill him and come back later to get it.

If you do get SA, there's no guarantee it won't fail out on you at a time you really need it. You'd have to ask Paraxade or tjp more about that. I don't know where it works and where it doesn't and how that meshes with what else you have available. I also don't know if there are any Dark or Light Beam doors by STKs that can't be circumvented (I, uh, never really paid attention until recently) or where else you'd really need SJ.

I think that's it. Everything else checks out in my head, except getting the Dark Visor and getting back out. How do you do that without the Light Beam btw?
I run this here hotel of an evening
what's up with ammo/health refills not gravitating towards you when you charge the beam if you're in a room the game thinks you're not? (minimap says you're in a different room)
also the enemy's will run around in circles (i did this in Temple Assembly Site) and sometimes run straight into a wall. you can change the rotation direction of the one running around in circles by running into it and stopping it.
one enemy looked like it was fighting the circle runner but really it was just running into it. i mean, bullying it because all it wanted to do was run around in circles. getting stuck in doors, possible IS from it though no success on my part. pointless anyway afaik. also can't scan.

what's up with... all that?

Because they're part of the room they originate in, and if you pulled them into another room, they would turn invisible when the door closes.

i didn't pull them into another room, i destroyed the boxes while in the room they originate in while the game thought i was in the next room. didn't leave the room once. well, only to make the game go crazy, you know. went back in after. damn scatterbrain of mine.....
I know you didn't, I'm saying why the game doesn't let you; if the game let you pull in refills while in a different room, you'd be able to pull them into another room during normal gameplay, in which case they would turn invisible when the door closed.

Miles ran into a similar glitch when he was massively testing out the ILS

Alpha Splinter is such a cheater.

rocks, locks, and invisible blocks
i found this glitch two days ago
i call it the super mega awesome trippin' epic-ness glitch
IT DOES NOT WORK EVERY TIME but you go to the power bomb door before DS2 and if your lucky when you use it the door will flash yellow if it does go in the room let the door close  then shoot it and it will flash random colors for no reason

when i did get this glitch to work (witch i've done 2 times) i used the power bomb off to the left of the door if that makes a difference
rocks, locks, and invisible blocks
just found this, no clue why u-mos in high
