rocks, locks, and invisible blocks
This has been known for a while :P I found it on my own a little while ago and posted it here thinking we could maybe get into a secret world but apparently its been tested
Quote from rekameohs:
That's already been found, but yeah, invisible walls completely surrounding the room. And a locked door just for kicks.

so yeah its a useless glitch but still fun to mess around with :P
Earlier while attempting early power bombs, I slid down into the wedge-like area behind the elevator room and couldn't get back out. In a last-ditch effort I morphed and tried to bomb out any way I could. After a few attempts at this, the game sort of "half" froze. An effect similar to but distinct from the light show occurred, where the screen was covered by garbage polygons, but they looked a lot different from the usual - for one, they included a lot of bright green and yellow additive translucency, and for two, there was no motion to them like with a normal light show. The music was still going, but no controls were responsive - I could no longer unmorph, boost, or use bombs, and attempting to unmorph would not even make the failure sound it usually makes. Needless to say that attempt was aborted. I had absolutely NO luck in that secret world this time, after having a relatively clean item loss skip. Shame.

So I found a sort of wrong warp effect from a save station, not sure if it's usable at all maybe in a segmented run. Idk if it works with all save stations or just this one in particular but here's what happened. In Dark Torvus Bog go through until you reach Dark Torvus Temple Access and do a screw attack to get into the morph ball tunnel SW. Open up Venemous Pond and then Save Station 1. With Save Station 1 still loaded put the map on Venemous Pond and then morph/unmorph into the top of Save Station 1 and quickly save while the game thinks your in Venemous Pond. Your game will save and everything will carry on like normal until you go to reload the game. Once you go to reload your game will skip the video where you come out of the save station completely and you will instead just instantly load at the door in Venemous Pond/Brooding Ground. Not sure if this is already known but if utilized correctly could possibly save a few seconds here or there. Kinda nifty little trick

Sry bout double post but tried it a few more times and this works without fail every time, hopefully someone can use this to their advantage!
That... is ridiculous. How did no one find that before?? Or if someone did why didn't I ever know about it? :(

Anyway it seems to work on every save station in the game, and from what I've seen always puts you right next to one of the doors in the adjacent room (I'm guessing every room has a "default" location to put you, which is always next to a door). Did find one decent time saver, if you're going from Watch Station Access to Dynamo Access you can cut 9-10 seconds off of the detour to the save no I'm not going to redo those segments don't ask:

Ahhhhhh yeahhhhh 8 years of gameplay and my one worthy contribution lol. Little things I found today. Does not work on ship ( was hoping for some weird stuff) does not work (yet?) on mp1. Go crazy peeps
What would happen if you tried it on map/ammo station? I don't think it'd do anything but maybe something weird might happen? Could be worth testing
Interesting... Makes me also wonder if the teleports in the energy transfer rooms could have a unique effect. It's cool that there's still things to be found in both games
Ahh, great idea with the energy transfer rooms. I don't think anything would happen if you went on an elevator though, but...
All very worth testing, elevators is a good idea as well! Pretty much might be worth looking into anything with a hologram icon at this point. It's funny I accidentally found this while trying to find a way to activate chykka without the keys >.<
MP2 also a bit MP1 speedrunning
well... i knew that secret world but i never thought that its worth to do it in a speedrun....
rocks, locks, and invisible blocks
I'm pretty sure it only works if you actually save the game. I've taken elevators and stuff before while in the wrong room and nothing interesting happened.
actually yeah, I remember accidentally taking the elevator from temple grounds to great temple while trying to do early power bombs a long time ago. nothing interesting happened, I just took the elevator...
Using the save station itself doesn't do anything, you just appear in the save station like normal, so it's pretty obvious nothing else will do anything interesting. It's only when you reload the file that you get warped.

Also I tested the post-EI3 checkpoint with codes and it works there too, lol.
Thoughts on the glitch... I want to do more testing in mp1 to see if it works or not, I tried it on one save room, the one connected to the room to start IBBF (forgot the name) with nothing but maybe I did it wrong. Hoping maybe something of the same effect might happen, for whatever reason as soon as I found this I thought of trying to use it to get back oob after IBBF w/o morphball but I doubt it will work. Anyone tried it on mp3? Maybe something interesting there as well???
No clue if it's tried on mp3, nor would I think it'd be too useful, since entering SWs in mp3 in general is a pain. Plus, most "save stations" in mp3 are ships... so i guess you'd probably have to enter the shop off the map or something like that...

Also, stop trying to screw over miles's mp1 segmented run, that's already happened :P
Oh ya that's right, I don't have my copy of mp3 anymore so my knowledge of that game is close to none at this point >.<

As for mp1 I'm secretly still hoping that 20% is possible somewhere in the game or a true item loss skip is found, but I doubt this glitch would help solve anything like that even if it did work on mp1. High hopes though!!
Not really a glitch I guess, but I've been meaning to mention for a while that if you fight Amorbis after getting screw attack, you can stand on top of the Dark Sphere. You'll take contact damage from the Amorbises, but, I thought it was pretty funny. It's a half-decent way to avoid their laser attack at least ;) Thought of trying it on a run that was purely for practice.
my umbrella goes directly to Bankai
so, i decided to bust out mp2 to start remembering the game again and this happened:

rocks, locks, and invisible blocks
Really neat find. maybe with screw attack you can get onto the spider ball tracks? that might make getting into a SW easier.
poor pirate.

I should mess with this. If we can get into a SW without screw attack, it could be an alternate way to wallcrawl to torvus after light beam, so we don't have to bother with sanddigger? Not sure how random it'd be though
Mining Station A has an invisible ceiling.
MP2 also a bit MP1 speedrunning
thats also why my attempt skipping the agon keys failed :/
I got one "glitch" the other day. A hard reset to be specific. I had gotten a lot of things, including power bombs (from the guardian) and was boosting in the agon temple (where you fight the bomb guardian), and the game just froze and reset.
I can't remember all the stuff I'd gotten and all. But I think I had taken power bombs most recently, and then getting gravity boost and wanted the energy tank in mine shaft, before going back to grapple guardian and chykka and so on.
Nothing major, just odd. And that it reacted only to me using boost ball there.
I had a rare glitch today playing. At least I'm pretty sure it was a glitch. It started when I came out from temple transport b, to TAS. Just before that, I had a storage pot of some kind just spontaneously breaking, but when I got to TAS, the attacking war wasps would just die as they got close to me. Sort of like they do when you activated MBI. Only, I was walking around. I had been to grand windchamber and windchamber gateway before this, if I remember correctly.
Now I can't prove it was a glitch, because when I recorded it with my cell phone, the effect had worn off. However I'm pretty sure it was a glitch, possibly related to one posted about having activated MBI, but standing up and being momentarily invulnerable to the fire from a Luminoth turret. Because I was invulnerable too, momentarily, from the attacks and the venom from the war wasps, standing there as several of them were attacking me.
I wonder what causes this glitch. It might have to do with the kinetic orb cannons, since I came from windchamber and since that is part of activating MBI.
