Glitches topic

It happened again! This time at the base of a spider track. lol, Retro's attempt at making the game non-SBable has made it even more glitchy.

If you use a power bomb on spider guardian he would die but you cant proceed. a much useless glitch.

I run this here hotel of an evening

as is initiating the spider guardian fight then leaving the room before killing him. actually, the game freezes before you can get to a door, iirc

When I was once warping into the Light World, I scrolled my thumb from B to X (touching B, A, Y, and X) and when the cutscene was over, you could see the back of the suit (like at the beginning of the Morph Ball morph animation, but from farther away) and the light from the morph (like before, farther away) at the same time.

I think that works the other way around too (Light to Dark World).

Just a minor graphical glitch though. :P

Yeah, it's pretty easy to do, all you have to do is scroll your thumb around. B->A->Y->X really fast. I think I can get a vid tomarrow.

I run this here hotel of an evening

in sand processing you have to shoot a missile at part of the halfpipe to break it and then continue. i was going through there earlier, and my missile went right through the glass. didn't break it, just went right on through.

and

when i went into a portal, my game slowed down immensly, starting from about 2 feet (in the game) away from entering it, until it flashes and shows samus standing there

I've had plenty of times that the portal animation stalled for several seconds, and Samus didn't appear until the tail end (when it was moving towards the other end of the portal), and then it'd just cut back to the game, without the usual "exiting portal" flash and SE.

Heres another:
If you skipped the catacombs in torvus and come back via dark torvus dungeon (the bars shielding the portal wont appear in dungeon) you would appear in side the bars and if you screw attack you would get stuck in the bars with no way out. :?

When I got the energy from Sanctuary temple, I saved. After I went to the main energy controller thingy...and with all the sw, I got stuck... I can do everything untill I got stuck...when I screw attacked and fell and then the screen turned b;ack...forcing a reset

Woot, mine hasn't been found yet. Probably because I've never been able to reprodue it...

In Ing Hive, the room that is two rooms away from the Ing Hive Entrance (With the Flying Ing Cache/Sky Temple Key)... I hope everybody knows the room I'm talking about... It's one of only two rooms with a Dark Ingsmasher...

Anyways, I was going for the Sky Temple Key and I was going in Morph Ball mode to save time. I dropped down the room, to the level with the Dark Ingsmaasher. He came to life, and I rolled away, leaving him alive. I rolled right into an Inglet while it was in puddle form. He stopped me and I was sort of stuck inside the puddle and unable to move. the Dark Ingsmasher walked right up and did his power quake. the move didn't kill the Iglet, but yet knocked both me and the Inglet away at the same time.

I got mad and unmorphed as I was still moving away to take out the Dark Ingsmasher. I took him out with super missiles, then went to walkout of the room and continue on my way. But no matter how hard I tred, I couldn't pass the door even thought it was open. I morphed thinking that maybe that would do something. But when I morphed, the Inglet appeared, on my morph ball form!

I started taking demage, so I demorphed. When I was demorphed, the Inglet was right on my visor and all I could see was him coming out of puddle form and flinging his little dark energy attack at me. I was losing energy real quick due to touching him and getting hit by his attack and other Inglets' attacks.

I eventually morphed back into morph ball and did away with him using a power bomb. And while I was in first person mode, that message at the beginning of the game kept coming up about "Light armor systems online, symbiotic possession attempt failed."

Weird. Too bad I can't get it to happen again, seeing as how every time I try, the power quake from the Dark Ingsmasher kills the Inglet I'm stuck in...

I don't know if this was descovered yet but:
I tried to make early power bombs in sanct entry and there I screwed into these... round things you boost of with spider ball. I got stucked and cant get out.

I was entering the room in agon which is a morph ball tunnel with the electric barriers you have to destroy to continue on (enroute to Dark Samus)... As I entered the door, I hit X to morph, and although I morphed, there was also a standing image of Samus that remained until I hit the tunnel... kinda freaked me out at first, actually.

The Samus/morph ball effect can also be accomplished by pressing the X button after a terminal fall and before entering a portal (with the right timing of course).

In Torvus Temple, I tried to reproduce the trick that some one else did, and when I tried, the pirate stayed on the skiff and died while going up to the sky. I aso shot him close. He committed suicide.

I'm too lazy to read the whole topic, so forgive me if this was already posted.

In Phazon Pit, coming from Phazon Grounds, I locked on to the Dark Metroid, but the reticule didn't appear. The camera followed it as if I was locked on, but it didn't look like I was. I broke the lock and tried again, and it was normal.

I hope I'm not bumping this topic... It should be a sticky anyways, since it is the glitches topic...

Not really a glitch, but if you Screw Attack Dark Samus 4 while she's up in that ball of Phazon energy, you bounce off of her, but you can still Screw Attack into her again. It won't hurt her, but it's cool to watch.

here's one I know

Get in Service Access room and go near the door leading Meeting grounds

open the door now look all the way up and DJ(double jump)and let your head hit the rail for the morphball now when you come down through the door it will look like the backgoroung for Temple Grounds

when you go in MG it will change back
