Colecting items and doing some thing right after is NOT a gilcth people . It is simply one second of the game returning to your controll and then the message or whatever its supposed to do will show.
Didn't I already say that SAL?
*scrolls down*
Oops, I typed now a glitch. Let me edit that.
Now on-topic. I know this had been mentioned but there are some areas that make you morph. One of them on the top of my head is ( this is on the 3rd spinner in geo core ) that is you try to bomb onto the spider ledge and morph right before you get there. You fall and then auto morph. It's pretty wierd.

Quote from I, at some point in time:
and my most recent discovery, which if already discovered i haven't heard of it, i was completely unable to scan. i came out of the parasite queen cinema with my scan visor on, but i couldn't scan, it would just lock on. i turned off the scan visor and shot it a few times, turned it back on, and it still wouldn't do it. i had to reset (go using start+B+X to reset!) to do it.

alright, sorry for that long quote. BUT, i finally figured out how to reproduce that glitch! simply hold L when you reset. it doesn't seem to matter if you start+b+x reset, or reset button reset. the only way you can get to strafe again without resetting, is to lock on to a ghost, then wait for it to dash out of site. keep holding L and you can strafe, but if you let go of L you lose it.

you can lock on to enemies, but it won't scan, no matter how close you get to it.

i wish i could make a vid

btw, any way this could go on the front page in the 'other' section?
That's the dumbest "glitch" I've ever heard of.

It's exactly the same as, say, holding a direction on the control stick when the game boots up. It sets the direction held as neutral, and thus when returned the the "real" neutral state, you move.

Same with depression of trigger buttons. Sorry.

I was referring to supermp. :P

it only partly disables it though. as you can lock on, but not strafe....oh whatever

That's because you only have to partially depress the button to luck on, but need to push it all the way to actually scan. With your glitch, you can still get the effects of partially depressing the button.

I myself do consider this a glitch, but a glitch in the controller itself, not the game.

here's another controller glitch. lock your view down as far as you possibly can, and walk forward. your view should reset itself. that's not the glitch, though. if you hold R while the view's resetting, you should still see the crosshair in the middle, but you can move the view up and down. it's weird seeing the crosshair not following the camera. it moves left and right but not up and down
i noticed this whilst doing IBBF earlier
everybody knows it's true
The sport of Elite Pirate riding can be done by the same way you can do Magmoor riding, except longer and you can stand on the top of the missile launcher, and damage is like the inanimate Thardus.

Yeah.
Everyone knows the rock spire used in all the Early Plasma Beam early tricks, right? Get behind it and then look at the door to Twin Fires [right?] (its the only one you can look at anyway) and it won't have the normal black thing in the middle. It'll just be blue.. until you get away from the rock.

[just a minor graphical glitch, and you can't shoot the door, to my knowledge.]

I think that's already been discovered because I've done it alot. And when you shoot it and look at it again it will be all black.

you can do this in phendrana shorelines to the door heading towards the wave beam
right when you fire the last shot to finish off Omega Pirate, approach a Phazon pool. The "danger warning" sound will repeatedly play during his death cutscene.
This is funny, I just got thardus to instant morph. This isn't a duplacatible glitch, pretty funny though.

On Flaaghra, I took out the last sloar panel at the exact time he whacked one one. He managed to do so, but he still went down. After that, no matter how many times I hit the solar panels, Flaaghra never reacted to the lack of energy, which meant no damage can be done (I have yet to figure out the trick), which meant I had to press the grey button.

Can't you shoot him untill his armor has 1 hp left ,  then place a Peanut butter and shoot him making him morph into a ball and get dammaged from the peanutbutter and then he will quickly unmorph?

if you get to the door while doing the thardus battle (escape the main fighting area and get into the tunnel leading to the pie rate base), weird things happen.

First of all, you get a ridiculously easy thardus battle. When he throws rocks, sometimes they will fly up and down for no reason whatsoever right beside him, and eventually when they gain enough speed, they will hit the ground and explode.

They can also go towards your little aclove, and start going up and down there. If they come into the "door" to the aclove, they explode immediately.

If you stand on the edge of the platform, you can be hit. Thardus' body reaches through the ground and can hit you.

If you look at the purple door for a while, ignoring the main area (its locked during the battle, btw), and look back, you will see that all of the snow/mist is gone, and the room is like chozo ruins lighting, with snow on the ground. It stops snowing if you look away.

Maybe if you look away while he puts up the big blizzard, you can get rid of the blizzard? :o

neways, thats all i saw.
you can still activate the chozo statue once its moved forward. Only happens when you first activate the slot then beat the ghosts.

That's a pretty awesome glitch. I love how stuff like that can still be found in MP after all this time.
Right at the very start, when you shoot the fist set of targets, as soon as I shot them I quicklt switched to the scan visor and locked on to the thing to activate the next gate. But it din't scan. I was locked on and I walked right up to it, but it wouldn't scan. I inlocked and tried again, and it didn't work. I swithed back to combat visor and back to scan, and it wouldn't scan at all.

EDIT: LOL, The L button was set wrong. I reset while I was locked on to something so I had it down. I reset the button thing it and it worked.

*hits self for stupidness*

The game? No... you just have to reset the buttons. I think you hold start, X, and Y for several seconds.
Weird stuff... I had the game freeze at Phendrana Shorelines... I was climbing up to go after the Wave Beam, and it froze on me.

Ah I would say it was too cold there.
I think you should explain it a bit more, just a tiny little bit though, not to much, because this is just a bit too generally.
