Would be nice to not have to tell the console I want to play the game on the disc that's already in there but those days are long dead.

both the 360 and ps3 have autoplay iirc, you have to enable it though

weirdly enough, i do have it enabled on my 360, but not my ps3 ... i guess because i like the ps3's interface so much and typically use it for other shit besides games

yeah like that shit ... was watching some x-files on my roommate's 360 just now and saw those things popping up constantly

i know you can turn them off but obviously it's not my console, and that's besides the point anyway

do they not have an option to just appear offline, or log out? Like on steam for the past few days I've just had it set to offline because I don't want to deal with anyone else.

Yeah I've probably seen it, but never bother to enable because I shouldn't have to. Neutral

And yeah the PS3 interface is way fucking better than the 360 dashboard. God is that a piece of shit.

Like we have a blueray player that has the same interface as a PS3 and it's nice and doesn't put the focus on some dumbass ad or anything. Why is play my fucking game up in the tiny box in the corner Microsoft? You do everything wrong.

yeah it's so fucking horrible ... good thing i only use my 360 to play games so i never have to look at it

i really do like the idea of a home "media center" in theory, and i think the ps3 does it pretty well
