People want everything to do everything these days. I do like being able to do many things on one device but some things can specialize and exist on their own merits, video game consoles should be one of those things but welp.

honestly I think the PS3 did it best. You could message people and add your friends to make it easier to join games, but there was no avatar bullshit or things like that.
