CV1 and 3 are a bitch to master, but are really fun once you get good at them. Rondo of Blood is my favorite classic CV, though. Really good boss fights in that game. As for Symphony? It's probably my favorite PS1 game ever. I love that one to death.

I think I have some natural aversion to PS games. I never get into them as much as I probably would normally. Maybe it's the PS1 load times.

But I don't really know, when I was playing SotN I kept waiting for it to get awesome and it never really did. It was just ok. Nothing ever jumped out as like "Oh, that's why people call this the best game ever."

I don't know. When you mention a game most people would call "good" from that time period that was on the N64 or PC, most people would agree about its quality. But for PS1 games, you never know.

I mean, I'm guessing it's because of the shear popularity of that console and the huge variety of games that it had, but I could be wrong.

I think you just see more Nintendo fanboys from that era than Playstation ones. You still see more Nintendo fanboys now than any others actually.

PC is a whole different animal.
