yeah see for me i just love when everything in a game is exactly what the writers/developers wanted, something, they personally created, and majora's mask is like that and red dead is not
Yeah it's kinda funny, now Zelda fans seem to be starting to turn on the series for getting to same-y and realizing that the best parts of recent Zeldas are the ones that are not really like Zelda and Majora's Mask owned because it was different.
The cool kids already knew that, though. We're streets ahead.
I actually kind of want a Zelda where the plot is literally the plot of Bad Dudes and you save Zelda from ninjas. And then Link and Zelda go get a burger afterward.
so that's maybe why i still love oot so much and other games not so much
I think the lesson is Zelda's probably at it's best when Zelda's not really involved. Link's Awakening was pretty cool, like a pre-MM.
I mean Zelda was pretty cool in WW, SS, and ST. Even though I am literally the only person in the world that liked Spirit Tracks at all, it's pretty indisputable that Zelda owned in it. Pissed off ghost Zelda is the best. But still Wind Waker is the only one of those games that I'd call a favorite.
I like a lot of CVs. Even some of the old-school platformers.
I played CV 4 and like it a lot, couldn't get into any of the other early ones. But I'm not the biggest fan of platformers. Other than that I've only played Circle of the Moon, Aria, and Symphony. Though I wasn't super thrilled with Symphony like everyone else is.
