The February edition of Gamepro Magazine contains a 6 page article on Nintendo in 2006, talking about the Rev, Zelda, and Metroid Prime Hunters. The info for the Rev and Zelda appears to be what we already know/guessed, but there were some interesting bits of what I believe is new info about Hunters.

According to the article, Hunters will take place between Prime and Echoes. The Wi-Fi will have up to four players battling with the seven hunters (Samus and the other six, who Nintendo hopes at least one of them will become popular enough to spawn their own games) across at least 25 different maps which are based on the five worlds in the single player game.

Yes... you heard me right: WORLDS! Supposedly, we will have the ability to pilot Samus to and from each of these five worlds while tracking down the artifacts and the other hunters. If one of the other hunters gets to a world before you and gets the artifact (Or flat out steals an artifact from you) you will need to chase him down across the system. The article mentions how they won't always follow the same path between planets though, and that where and when they leave depends on the AI.

Basically, what that comes down to is not having the same exact playthrough each and every time the game is played, making it harder to know what is coming.  (Hmm... think this has anything to do with us? Wink)

Oh, and the article does mention that the Wi-Fi will be ready on the game's launch, which is... March 20th!  :D (As most of us had pretty much figured out by now)

Now that'll be cool...But who will it be?....

I like the idea of it not having the same run for each game. Now this will be a challenge. Lets just hope that their A.I. is good.

But what REALLY annoys me is that i'm going to have to wait for months after March 20th Damn Australia and getting things really late!

Here is some scans I found from 4 color rebellion

Sounding more and more like it'll be stage based. Not sure what I think about that yet.

Single player mode sounds fun. I'll probably get it just for that, as I certainly won't be playing any multiplayer.
