FTFY  Very Happy

Yeah, keep working on it, re-working it.  It's close(ish) in the beginning, but after 19 seconds it seems to go to the circus. laugh new  Like the notes are upside down...  Eh?  Maybe that's not the best way to describe it.  It just becomes mostly unrecognizable.

The bass notes do seem very repetitive, and the instrument that plays the main tune - it's too high pitched -especially compared to the lower notes.  There's no middle ground (sound) here.  After a while it would (and does) get annoying to listen to.

You probably already know this but, Experimentation is the key.

Edit: Gotta remember the ARS ratings.

edit: ok done.

Not impossible
just highly unlikely
Just so you guys know, you don't have to put that "/5" there. When using ARS, the "out of 5" is implied.
ok, I'll remember that.

Thanks for helping, it does go out of place or tune after awhile. laugh new

when I have more time i'll have to work on it again.

I've been busy lately. I started working on a few so far, I'll let you hear them but they're very short though...

I still have ways to go with them.

Sonic 3- Carnival Night: Sounds close to it(kinda). I've done some parts of it from memory, so it might not be right.

Super Metroid- Red Brinstar: I think it sounds ok so far.

please let me know what I should fix?

S3-Carnival Night.  Exclamation  Nope.  I feel this could be a lot better.  Check the tune/notes.

Ok, thanks. I'll probably work on them another time. I've noticed your example, and I decided to remake the theme so its completely different. I think it sounds ok for kraid.

Enjoy!

Any type of advice and criticism is always welcome. :)
again, you make a AMAZING intro..... into crap.... why?
One shall stand, one shall ball.
Explain why it is crap and he may get better at not doing that. Just saying it's crappy doesn't help anyone.

I like it but the tune still doesn't seem *right.  There's one instrument in there that seems like it's out of place, and I think it could be called a Cuica (Brazilian friction drum)...  The best way I can describe it is like a little dog barking. :-/  It seems to be 'underneath' when that main sound starts (a type of vibraphone?).  The 'Organ' sounds the most appropriate.

If you know that I obviously don't know what I'm talking about when trying to describe the instruments used - then please excuse my ignorance. Embarassed

The opening does have some atmosphere.  When it gets up to :17; that's when it kicks in.  I think it might start in too hard/sudden with that instrument.  I don't know what all you've tried - but do you think building into it would work better (like having it 'crescendo')?

*=When I said it doesn't sound right...  You seem to be stuck on a certain tune.  But you're the one with the audio equipment/program(s).

What don't seem right is what I think you've got here... I don't know of any way to show the tempo -sorry.  The notes are close enough.

d f d f d a g f d.... Confused *shrug*

Try it with

e b a f# d b...  or something like that...  I'm getting myself confused Razz (I won't give you too many since I think you can work with it from there). Wink

Thanks, I'll have to try that when I get my pc up and running again. Here's another...Its not a remix, instead it kinda gives an idea of how the item room ambience that's on the older games would sound if it was on Metroid Fusion. It has been a long time since I played any of those games, so it may or may not sound the way it should.

Its very short so don't expect too much from it...

Any advice and criticism will always be welcomed.

edit: gonna ask for help elsewhere.
