Who do you hate? Despise fighting, look away when it appears?

Me, it's Flaahgra. Just...hate him. Mainly because I still can't do early Wild, so I have to fight him...a lot...
Thread title:
One shall stand, one shall ball.
Nice change.
Yeah Flaahgra sucks, seeing his burning cutscene when he's damaged is really annoying aftere a while.
Mine is Meta-Ridley.  I know MR is really going to hate me but He really wasn't needed in MP.  For battling wise goes, Omega Pirate sucks.
Omega Pirate, Keeps killing me on Hard Mode.
Flaahgra is boring.  There's not much skill involved.  Even when you shoot the sun collectors from afar rather than right behind them, it's the same thing four times in a row.  He's boring and doesn't offer up much of a challenge.

***edit*** actually, no challenge at all.  Even upon my first time against him I barely got injured and knew right away what to do..

Ok, I'll admit that Thardus was pretty much self explanitory, but at least he moved around...
I('d) like to watch (some MP3 runs)
I suck at Meta Ridley, but Flaahgra (sp) is fun with the cheap method.
Prime for me (2nd form). It is quite boring with its shockwave only attack all the time. Especially in Hard mode it takes nearly forever to shoot it down because it has a lot of HP and one phason pool doesn't last long enough to do serious damage.

What boss was "needed" besides OP and MP?  Anyway, Flaahgra is quite lame.

Ohhhh, you've done it now. I'll burninate you!

Nah, that's ok. You can like or dislike whatever bosses you want to, and I will just happen to disagree with you. I do think, though, that Ridley is an important aspect of the metroid series (even more so than mother brain), and so he needed to return in 3d. Plus, it was just sweet.

But on topic, I can't stand Omega pirate. He has a dumb damage system and is a stupid reason to tack on a percentage. I guess OP here will hate me, but I've said my piece.

Be nice to each other! :D

I know but he wasn't part of the story enough.  all I see that makes him connected to it is that Samus chases him down to Tallon IV.  You also see him in Phendrana Drifts flying by after the boost ball, but that's pretty much it.
I think the story, as told through the scans, is plenty to account for him being there: the space pirates are rejuvenating him onboard the frigate, and he swoops down to the surface to get orders. The story is shaped to include him.

Now why he would destroy the artifact temple... who knows. But it makes perfect sense to me for him to be there.
It at least make more sense than Fusion. It's so obvious they threw him in in Fusion for no reason. And technically, Ridley dies halfway through, because you're actually fighting an X that is in Ridley's body and using it, but I don't think anyone cares...
PAGE BREAKER
Ready and willing.

My guess is that he knows that it's even worth destroying the artifact temple if it stops Samus from getting in there and stopping the spread of Phazon. Maybe he read the Chozo Lores too, or something.
One shall stand, one shall ball.
Either that or he was just really pissed off a Samus for killing him.
How do you know if he has all his memories back?
One shall stand, one shall ball.
I don't I just made that up right then.

Quoted for emphasis. Two of my friends (in two different occations) got reeeaaaaally tired when I showed them the game and had to go fight Flaahgra... I warned them! "This part's reeaaally slow," but obviously they were still suprised with the slowness that is PlantMan.

Er, Flaahgra.
I guess I'm the only one who doesn't like Thardus. He's fun to fight, but I just can't comprehend the fact that inanimate objects such as rocks are somehow "fused" together to create an intelligently acting, brainless boss. IMO, it's a little too far fetched...even for a Metroid game.
They were special rocks.
Well, for the non-Sequence Breaker, it was a good way to introduce Phazon. Kinda...ok, only if your the type that scans a lot, but I know some people are.
a
Flaghhra= worst boss ever.

you just flip panels, bomb him/her/it, and watch that annoying cutscene, and repeat three times.

and it never attacks! when i fight it, it only swipes its claw at me once or twice twice in the whole fight!!!

Flaahgra by far.  He's just annoying to fight and the fight tends to get so boring at times. :?
