I('d) like to watch (some MP3 runs)
I got this from GAF, where a site called GamesRadar put up about the first hour of gameply from Metroid Prime 3.  I haven't watched it as of yet, but if any of you guys are curious, here is where (at the time of this post) you can get the video:

http://www.gamesradar.com/us/wii/game/news/article.jsp?sectionId=1006&articleId=2007081714272738007&releaseId=200605092056126030

I think that is in flash form, and here are the actual flash files from the above link to download (I guess you need an .flv player or something like that):

They are also being put up on youtube, and 5 of the 6 parts are already up.  They can be found here:

<-Part 1
<-Part 2
<-Part 3
<-Part 4
<-Part 5
<-Part 6

If you have a niconico account (japanese 'youtube' with lots of gameplay videos), they are also being put up there.

Thanks to Mr. Spinnington, TwinIonEngines, Gamesradar, sp0rsk and anyone else involved.  Hope you guys enjoy.
Thread title:
NOOO SPOILERS RUN AWAAAAY

(hi scarlet)
I('d) like to watch (some MP3 runs)
I'm gonna watch it, but not posting anything.  I don't have a wii thing and have no idea when I will get one, so I'm hoping when the game comes out, y'all will have lots of cool videos and tricks and stuff.  :o
ok, I will NOT watch them
SPOILER ALERT!!!

I've watched the first hour of Twilight Princess before I got it.
ruined all the fun...
Also here:
I could not resist.. :(  In my opinion, there arent any major spoilers so I dont think it would do you much harm if you decide to watch it. Hope the final part will be uploaded soon.
not evil,just hungry
Hey look, no more stare-at-yourself scan visor :D
So do they get up to anything we haven't seen yet? (I'm assuming the game starts on the Olympus, and then goes to Norion like the trailers have suggesed)

I did watch the first hour or so of Zelda when Gamespot played it, but they never got out of the village. (Plus, Zelda ended up being about 40 hours for me.) Seeing as how Corruption is supposed to be about 20 hours at most from what I've heard, I'm probably going to skip these since that first hour is a bigger chunk of the gameplay.
red chamber dream
Not gonna watch. Landing on Tallon IV in Prime for the first time was one of the best experiences in my life, so hopefully Corruption will be similar.

Don't get your hopes up. The first hour is nothing but linearity and loads of voice acting. =/
I just watched the first part, but after thinking about it I decided not to watch the rest, thank god there weren't any spoilers in the first part...

Major edit!:
Does mine eyes decieve me or the controlles have been changed?, it seems you now jump with A and shoot with B... that sucks, It really is becoming a FPS after all, andthis hour looks a lot like halo...
Almost happy
No one else then me who liked samus  look from prime better then this from Fusion and ZM?

Yeah but probably only the beginning will be like that or else I will be sad... I did not like hunters one bit.

You mean suitless Samus? Yes, definitely. Plastic Barbie Doll Samus was annoying before, but she REALLY has no place in a game with a realistic style like this.

Yeah that's what I meant, I was quite impressed over how they had designed her for Prime and I kinda get why they changed the look for ZM but here she really doesn't fit in.
I have to admit, the more I see, the less I like, hope it gets better than this.

You can choose whether to shoot with A or B.

i guess you should blame NCL since they made the MZM design.

i also liked the mp1 Samus more. MZM style fits 2D only imo.
I'd be perfectly fine with the look if they were to use the Zero Suit Samus appearance that they had in Hunters, actually. That's been the best looking 3D version of it in my opinion. But it can't beat the Prime version of Samus: It was the most realistic Samus we've ever had, and perfectly fit the art direction of the Prime series.
I'm fairly certain that Corruption will follow the path of the previous Metroid Prime entries; linear beginning, all-over-the-map the rest of the game.

Corruption does look to be heavily plot driven. I don't mind that. If they keep the other aspects of the Metroid series, I'll be okay.

i hope the linearity is frigate-scale, that is, lasts as long as the frigate in mp1.

unlikely but would be nice.

i also want to see a good escape sequence with everything falling apart and exploding. the best escape sequence is the SM one and i haven't even played the game yet.

edit: i broke the page.
I don't know: I've heard plenty that suggests Corruption is going to be A LOT more linear than Prime or Echoes, and everything we've seen recently seems to acknowledge that. But I still believe we will get freedom to explore.
As long as it isn't linear except for which areas you explore (a la Hunters), I'm okay. I think the initial linearity will last MUCH longer than the frigate did, since it's two entire levels, both of which seem to be larger than the frigate was in the first Prime.
I really hope the game becomes more organic and free flowing than this later on, I'm not digging the real technological feel.

Most of that video was stuff we've already seen.
This looks more Haloish than metroidish, you know what I mean?
