Alright guys I'm pissed. I had a sub- 1:30 pace going on (PB 1:47) and spent 15 MINUTES looking for a power bomb for artifact of warrior. Is there a secret to finding power bombs? What's there drop chance? WHAT'S THE DEAL?! I noticed that metroids have high drop rates of power bombs.

i imagine you tried farming in the same place. it's better to farm in different rooms since drop rates are tied to the rooms (which is kinda dumb but whatever)

Yea back and forth three rooms so the ones on the end would unload but whatever.

They're not tied to the room actually, if that were the case then all drops in a room would have the same rate, the rates are actually an attribute of the pickup component. Retro generally has the rate uniform on a per room basis, though that's not always the case.
