lvl 28 Magic Leper
Today I finally finished this game at 1%, it wasn't a run. (frankly because I can barely run IRL). Well I am happy that I at least tried, but I have to say that Nightmare wasn't even hard like some people let him out to be, my main trouble was Mega-X. Oh yeah and my time was 2:17, here is my only proof of this:

Maybe I should just stick to criticizing.

Good work. I'm too lazy to do a 1% run Rolling Eyes .

I wouldn't call it a run or runworhty.

that could be fake

Yes it could be a fake, than again if I was to make a fake, wouldn't  it make just a bit more sense to lower the time by about an hour or two, anyways I don't expect any of you to beleive me, because I know that I completed it. (I would record the final battle just to prove it, but I don't know how to record actually.)

Ready and willing.
Don't worry. Anyone with half a brain won't accuse you of making up that time.

I agree with Yoshi, mangadood doesn't have half a brain.
Congrats on completing the hardest metroid fusion challange

i believe you. i was just saying...
and to record it you have to get a game boy player and stik a tape in the vcr and record
直死の魔眼使い
Erm, just because of the shot, we can all safely believe that it was an emulated run...
Good for you.

And to help with the recording thingie(if you're using VBA), just go too "Tools, Record, Start movie recording" choose where you want to save it, and then just play. When you're done "stop movie recording" is right under "Start movie recording". Hope that helps.

Didn't you just announce that you made a two item Metroid run, and with less proof then Vertigo has? Come on.

Good... good, now all I need to do is to get back at nightmare so I can record a trick that I think I found.
soaking through
Heh.  Nice one.  I got 1:53 on mine, which is odd, 'cos when I try a speed run I invariably get 2:20.  Meh.
Time bomb set get out fast!

Is it the trick where you shoot him a lot, and then he starts flying around the room and doesn't stop, and you die?  Because I've found that one already.

No, not that one, it is probably already known, but it got me through his mask without being hit once. I space jump to the top of the room and he follows me, then I descend with a fully charged beam and fire at him once I hit the ground underneath. I repeat the step again and while he is descending he should start up his little missile destroyer . I then emptied a lot of Charge beams into him and his mask was blown out without me being damaged.(I had to repeat this step a few times due to annoying random flyingness.)

That M2k2 guy
I'd believe you if you said you did a 1% run and didn't give any proof, but I'm a little disappointed that you apparently used an emulator to do it. 1% on the cart makes Nightmare a bit harder. Notice the difference in speed between Sess's Nightmare seg and any real speed run on Nightmare.

Oh, and also, I would only believe you made your time up only because of how long it took you. My first time around was 1:18 I believe, because I knew where to go and I was mainly trying to avoid monsters, as opposed to going back and trying to kill them all. Plus, with all the deaths, the time would start over from the save point, and I'd get faster and faster at getting somewhere hard (Gauntlet especially, stupid Yakuza).

Yes but you see I can't run because frankly Superion would kill me if he found out that I was trying, because he is like that. Yeah good point though, I might have had it a lot easier on the Nightmare battle because of the laggy rom. (I yhink I said it once or twice that this wasn't a run and that I was only doing it to complete the game at 1%.)
