Use \ before commas in usernames
I don't recall it being this poor?  but then again I didn't recall the first metroid (played on GBA.SP ZM) being as bad either? 

now, is the play control bad, or am I just use to the new games ZM / fusion?  it has been ages since playing with the NES / SNES.

thoughts?

The controls on the GBA: ZM and Fusion do handle a little differently. I think its a bit faster and the controls are a little more responsive. Also when Samus jumps she does'nt ''float'' at the top of her jump like in the originals. I may be wrong on this but i think I'm right.

yeah that sounds / feels right.  maybe in the beginning they were trying to emphasize the low gravity "space" feeling?  NES metroid is was really floaty.
Yes, they actually could have gone for that space feel. Also the fact that it is an old console the controller controls could have been a bit slow and unresponsive, seeming as in old gaming magazines games are rated by how responsive the controls are as well as the usuall graphics and sound
