I don't know how I managed, but using a dbj and a mid-air morph jump, I managed to get to the door behing the Varia suit without ice or hi jump.

I guess this is pretty pointless saying this, since you can wall jump up, but who cares?

Time bomb set get out fast!
It's not pointless at all -- door jumping is, after all, crap on a stick.  (Or such is my view.)  A better argument for pointlessness is that there's an Ice Beam readily available between the Bombs and the Varia, and you may as well grab it because you need it eventually.  That's not the case in Zero Mission, which is why getting Varia with just bombs is useful there.

But I think your accomplishment is nontrivial, anyway.  It's probably been done before, but it's still cool.
