dolphin help?

rocks, locks, and invisible blocks

i have prime one and two and have been following all the steps on the like 50 videos i've watched and i still cant get dolphin to run anything

so i guess i will go step by step with the

-i got dolphin
-got the roms (or whatever there called) for prime one and 2 (from thepurplecube)
-got winRAR
-extracted all the files on prime
-got a folder called Metroid_Prime_v1.02_USA_NGC-OneUp
-opened it up and found like 20;50 000 KB files (most of the videos i watched said to extract all of them too)
-so i did that and got a GB and a half -winRAR archive- file with the name metroid prime witch i thoght was the game (its not)
-tryed to start playing it on dolphin and got like 5 erorrs saying its not a GCM\ISO but i did get a METROID PRIME logo witch made me think i did somthing right
-then i was thinking mabey its a bad game to tryed it with prime 2... same thing happend

so im hoping someone can give me a step by step tutorial on how to do this

WTF is A Dolphin? I know what a dolphin is but Idk what these are. Isn't it like, a cheat thing?

Dolphin is to Gamecube as ZSNES/snes9x are to SNES. However, Dolphin is still pretty buggy, and uses a ton of CPU memory from what I can tell.
