Hello.

What if you used space time (starting from the big climb room) and hit the door transition to the escape out of bounds? You know, the grey door in the bottom left of the room.

I know this alone wouldn't trigger the escape, you would have to make it all the way to the room to the left of mother brain in order to actually activate the escape. But shouldn't this be possible if you used space time in every room until you get there?

If you use GT code + space time, you could in theory get a run that's a lot faster than the current TAS.

Edit:

Here's an old video of me hitting the door transition to the acid room: http://www.twitch.tv/kottkraft/c/2007640

I think that door has the value of 03? And there's a total of 5 doors in the room, so you could hit a lot of different doors oob.

There's lots of things you can do with the space time beam, but it's considered by the most of us that it's just uninteresting because of that. Its behaviour is just illogical
What'd you say?
Wow...

Almost happy
Damn, I guess Space/Time is at least slightly more reliable than I'd thought, although still unreliable as all hell on console conditions because of how easy it crashes the game. It's great that some people finally sat down and properly tried out the S/T Beam. I tried out the same sequence of skips in a tool assisted run, it's pretty much balls to try to optimize but some of the door triggers are pretty neat.
