Is it possible made new different speedrun categorie in the game? Red Scarlet and Mycatsuck run was single segment run and there are no deaths.

I planned is it possible made with Death single segment run. You made couple suicide.

EXAMBLE:
If you get first missile expansion you made suicide after you get that. Now game started Brinstar entrance and you have that missile expansion.

This is hard categorie because after death you have only 30 energy point, you need energy tank or something, but i am sure it made some spots much faster beat.  Game is possible beat faster than Mycatsuck run and this is new categorie.

I not know working that my idea, but comments please! Wink

I have wished for a while that this would be allowed.  It would be faster.  If it were allowed, I might just speedrun this game.

It's allowed, but listed under a seperate category of death abuse.

Just it is death abuse categorie.

SDA not includes death abuse video yet. I think it is probably harder than single segment run because just what i already said if you death you have only 30 energy point. Maybe this categorie is easier complete TAS run than console. Probably i want someday try that speedrun, probably not, but before that i need lot practice.

I not like speedrun that game, because this is crazy game, really difficult speedrun. Took most deaths complete that game. Just i practice yesterday that game. Early varia suit is very difficult trick took almost 10 minutes get that without hi jump.

I really need varia suit because i never beat this game without varia suit and only 3-4 energy tank max. I have Zero mission versio Ridley is much harder with GBA Zero mission versio than Prime versio. Prime versio includes savespot in Ridley room but gba versio not and it is reason why i need varia suit because you lose energys automatically because you not can dodge Ridley attack on GBA Zero mission versio.

False. There's already a run in there (Banjo-Tooie) that abuses death, and the old any% record for MegaMan X8 did so as well.

However, the fact remains that the death abuse category does exist at SDA. And I'm sorry, since I know this is a low blow, but the fact that you don't know english fully enough to make yourself understandable isn't my problem, and is exactly the reason why I misunderstood you.

And for the record, let's just say that I've had a very bad day today that WILL continue to be just as bad (if not worse) and leave it at that.
