Find this this game way too easy? The reason I paid $45 for it was because I thought it would be as hard as Fusion! Seriously, I beat it two days after I bought it!

I'm thinking of returning it...
Thread title:
Same here... two days.  4 hours and something.  But that wasn't 100%.  I thought the Meta Ridley prototype was hard on 100% for the first time though.
I actually beat this in one 7-hour sitting my first time through (final time was only 3hours 15 minutes though). Yeah, I know I'm crazy but still it was a lot easier than expected. Fun, but easy.
Except for the first time fighting the Mother Brain.  You HAVE to admit.  I guarantee you lost. :P
By one sitting, I mean I never got up from playing the game (except to grab lunch, so technically it was two sittings with a 5 minute gap). Yep, I died at the brain several times, and other places too. Why do you think I was playing for 7 hours when my final time was only 3 hours 15 minutes?
What luck, there's french fry stuck in my beard.
I dunno.  I beat Fusion two days after I got it too.  Neither of them are difficult in the least.
PAGE BREAKER
Ready and willing.
Do a hard 15% run, then we'll talk easy.
Or even just doing a Hard under 2 hours. Of course, its eaiser than the 15% (At least, I think it is.). The reason it was is because you probably played Easy.
What luck, there's french fry stuck in my beard.
When I meant easy, I meant on the first time through....
But when the topic creator said it was easy, I meant he meant easy. :P

Ah, so when you meant easy, you were talking about how he meant easy, but not how I meant easy, which got me confused and said how I meant easy wasn't exactly the same way how he meant easy, which was what you were talking about when you meant easy about him meaning.....

Wait.
What was I talking about?
It took me about 12 straight hours to beat the game for the first time, but I took my time and looked for things.

I remember it well because immediately after I beat it for the first time, I posted here on the forums, and  the next day I found out that Dave had discovered the early varia before me and posted it on the gamefaqs board.

Did diagonal ball jumps exist in any other metroid?  I don't remember them and didn't play metroid 1.

you can do bomb ladders in prime, which is basically the same thing, i guess.
What luck, there's french fry stuck in my beard.

You can also diagonally bomb jump in Super, but it is exceedingly difficult.
I('d) like to watch (some MP3 runs)
You can also diagonal bomb jump in Metroid 1.
Cook of the Sea
This game is easy and short, but it is crammed with challenges to perplex any Metroid fan.  And it has 8 endings.  I mean 15% clear on Hard Mode?  You call that easy?
Did you play it on easy the first way through?  My guess is anyone who is into metroid enough to be on this forum should have started on normal.  I was certainly glad I did.

Um, no?  Not on normal mode my first run through...
lol no way
Meh, this game has as much replay value as any other Metroid in the form of different speed runs, which is further increased by having all the different kinds of speed runs mixed with different difficulties. I liked it.
Oh, it's certainly a fantastic game with a lot of replay value, but that doesn't mean the first play-through where you'll natrually go for a medium to high percentage isn't easy. There's no rule saying a game has to be hard to be good.
lol no way
This is true, most Metroids aren't hard.

I'm thinking of returning it...

Why did you pay $45 for it? Most GBA games are $30.

It's like 4-500 SEK for a brand new GBA Game... seriously, that's FAR too much. 250-300 would be more like it.

Fusion took me ~5 hours the first time I completed it. The second wasn't even half of that... T-O-O short! (but hey, as long as Zero Mission doesn't have those [CENSORED] Navigation Rooms, I'll like it better than Fusion)
I'm having trouble deciding which took longer, but I definitely enjoy Zero Mission more.
