haha yeah same. I've salvaged every blue item I can't use so far, only selling gray/white shit I accidentally pick up. Upgrading dat blacksmith all day erryday

Yeah, it's pretty worthless to sell blue items anyway since you only get like 30-100 gold for them.

that's one thing i've noticed - it's pretty hard to get gold in this game, and you need a lot of it.

dude have you been killing stuff in Act II yet? They drop quite a bit more I've noticed. Like one mob dropping two sets of gold, like 20-70 gold per pile.

note that my numbers might be skewed since I have like 4 or 5 items that add 4%+ gold dropped from mobs. Seems like you get about twice as much in Act 2 as you do in 1. All the weapons and armor I've seen cost 2-3K

scored a kickass mage wand off the Auction House for 1.6K though, and a yellow mage hat for 4K.

Do you guys know if the items later in the game are soulbound? If not, that rocks. Go one of the most annoying things about WoW, not being able to trade off your old shit.

For WoW there's "Bind on Pickup" which means as soon as you pick it up you can't trade it. "Bind of Equip", which is self-explanatory. and then "Bind on Account" so you can send it to your other characters.

I'm like level 23 and still don't have a single piece of gear that has sockets. I've found plenty, but it's all been crap so far :/
