Blast Metroid:
This Metroid would be housed in an area Samus (or any other life form) can not infiltrate. The only way to destroy the Blast Metroid would be to destroy the material encasing the Metroid via Samus' artillery.
The strength/ability to destroy the encasing/detonation is strictly dependent upon the level of Samus' artillery.
It's suggested multiple life forms to be housed in this area as the destruction of a Blast Metroid would extinguish all life forms in its wake. Researchers and scientists on SR-388 have identified the only means of dodging the Metroid Blast's sonic devastation is to morph into sphere formation.
