Your edits don't look too unfair at the moment, but be careful: spikes everywhere only works to a degree, and if you cross the line, it just become no fun, and people won't play it.

Yeah, a good unfair hack is actually fair -- very hard, but it doesn't hit you with things that you couldn't see coming. It just requires care and precision.

So I would recommend removing the spikes right in front of the elevator, since every player is going to be running through the door at full speed the first time through and will thus be unable to avoid the spikes.

Yeah Derakon pretty much summed it up. A good hack isn't just going to be stuff that makes you think "wtf". There's nothing worse than dying and not even being able to prevent it just because you didn't know what was going to happen or what was next.

Listen to those people if you want you hack to be enjoyable. I certainly wouldn't play it if it's too cheap like in your edits.
