I'm not very good at this game, but i have been randomly bsj-ing around since i discovered how easy it was, and i'm quite consistent at it.
However, after the valhalla, i seem unable to get a bsj or an instant unmorph at all, in any situations.
Is this known, do i just suck or is this new?

EDIT: ok, i just did a bsj. but i had to roll back to get the instant unmorph, i couldn't do one in a stationary position. before valhalla, i could just pretty much be near a wall to get the unmorph.
specifically, in for the aurora chamber cell skip, i used a bsj to get me up to a high ledge so i was in a good position for the terminal fall, and i just went underneath the "ring" platform and got the unmorph by default. is THIS the bug, instead of not being able to bsj easily?

EDIT 2: it seems it is, i now read i need to tap down. I never needed to do this before...

I found out that I was hitting the C button and B button at the exact same time.  After spring ball or bomb jump, you have to hit the C button just before B button or bsj won't work.  I found that when I tried to do bsj too quickly, I would hit the buttons at the same time and it wouldn't work.  I'm not sure if that is what you are doing though.  If you get the instant unmorph, but no spacejump afterwards, then that is the problem.  Otherwise, I don't know.

There's just some walls in the game where instant unmorphs are easier to be done, because of the camera angle and all that. That's the only important factor. So you can pretty much BSJ anywhere easily by tapping back. 2BSJ's are the same. I've found a few walls in the game where they're ridiculously easy to do while in other places it's hard as hell to do. I dunno if this really does anything, but BSJs/2BSJs always work for me whenever I hold down the B button right after instant-unmorphing.
