I spend like 1 hour yesterday and managed and dbj in the air which brough me 2 blocks higher than the max i can go, any one gotten higher?

btw 1 block is a size of speed boost/screw attack/ block

Two blocks higher is the highest you can get. Bomb jumps only have one non-TAS use.

Maybe he's talking about max you can go in general, including unmorphed jumping.

You get Hello-Jump so early though, I never could think of a use for it. I tried skipping the hoppy tree friend using that, but I don't think I ever succeeded.

EDIT: Nevermind. I tried using the normal jump and bombing and it looks like it only gets you like half a block higher than normal, if that.

Does that account for the fact that if you hold A, you actually rise up? I think it might be theoretically plausible to IBJ in Fusion, but it would be so slow that there's no way it could ever be useful in any kind of speedrun. Plus, it'd be so difficult that it would probably only be for TAS, in which case if it's really needed, it would be faster to do the wall scaling technique with morphing.

Of course, I'm no TASer, so I can't really be sure that it is possible, unless someone were to test it out. *hint-hint*

You can pull off more then a DBJ I was chaining them for a bit, didn't get more than a few pixels of height, but meh, did it on my SP.

I prefer morph ball jumping into DBJ like in the video below, but that's just me, it's literally a DBJ as you have to lay two bombs at the same spot
My time is only partially done, i'm better on my SP :/
