This is a patch made by InsomniaDMX that I originally didn't understand. (which is the reason this topic exists.)
This patch replaces screw attack with the ability to automatically gain speed booster by holding the run button, and moving.

I remember some time ago, someone found a code (game genie maybe?) to have infinite bluesuit or something, i might be wrong, but who knows...

That code does give the free shine spark, in fact, it gives infinite shinesparks whenever you want xd, im playing a normal game with it now, and god, its freaking fun! xD

1HKO Torizo, gonna try with golden torizo later, it doesn't work against "big" bosses (a.k.a, kraid, phantoon, croco, etc.) but it does wonders with anything else but the turtles.

Edit: woah.. i just did a diagonal shinespark in the lava room to get to ridley, and i kinda went through and from it, and i appeared in a lava only screen and the game crashed, go me!... and i didn't save ._.

since I'm too lazy/ don't have enough knowledge to try this for myself, can this possibly be changed to replace speedbooster rather than screw attack?
also, @zephyrzx: is that a cyber elf? if so, any idea which one?

ANYTHING can be done with hacking. You can turn samus into elmo and make her shoot cookies instead of shots. It's all a matter of how hard it is.

I would pay to see that done (Paypal).  But the cookie monster would have to be one of the bosses, or even a recurring boss.... :-)

is it possible for screw attack and blue suit to be in the same game?

i think if its that way it would be better.....

its not like it has to show in the menu anyway...and when i applied the patch it doesn't say blue suit it still says screw attack.........whats up with that?

1.screw attack and bluesuit can be in the same game. If you do it yourself.

2.because that just isn't how Insom(niaDMX) made it.

Does anyone have the actual ASM coding for the Blue suit, or is it just the patch. I'd like to learn how it works and try a few changes cause I'm *trying* to learn ASM, and the best way to learn anything is to just mess around with it.
