Well, it looks like my runs will be delayed even longer. Yesterday in gym, someone kicked my hand, and now my thumb doesn't move very well.
That makes 6 injuries for me in gym so far... 2 rolled ankles, 2 stubbed thumbs (my right thumbnail almost broke off because of that one), the kick, and a really bad floor burn (Can gym floors really do this?)
Well, ive been playin MZM abunch. I've unlocked six endings so far, and am trying to get 100% under 2 hours on hard. then I'll try to get 15% hard. I guess this is the fusion board, so i'll stop. I'm going to record an any% run and a single segment any% run in fusion when I get the WT GBP. I'm thinking about recording some MZM runs if i get good enough by the time I get it(it looks like it will be awhile so i'll have plenty of time) I'm not sure if i'll do 100% or any% in MZM. Maybe i'll do single segment runs along with regular runs. Who knows? All that is a big IF though.

Wow...that's more injuries than I've ever gotten in my life. And to make this Fusion related, I want to make my time better (right now it's 1:51), so I might borrow it back.
Obviously, the gym floor did do that didn't it? Maybe if they recently waxed it, you'd fly across gathering mucho kinetic energy, hence burning your hand so badly. That's why I fear sliding across floors on my knees. That, and the fact that dropping to my knees could shatter them if just dropping from a standing/running position (too far from the ground) like I used to. I made that mistake once when I was young, luckily I was also shortish and didn't get badly injured.
Then I went for all items from my save before SA-X and got 100% with 4:10 :)
Pretty happy with those. I probably won't make a speed run very soon though, I have to get 100% in MZM and I have a prime speed run halfway through that I had put aside to finish fusion
Aaaahhhh. Last day of school tomorrow. Exemption from semester exams are good. I passed my psychology CLEP test with a 64 and I never took the course. Summer vaction. ^o^
I shall soon embark on my journey of a thousand runs.
I picked up Fusion a week ago, after 2 months of zero play. Reached Nightmare with 1:05, thought that was really bad but kept going. Beat the game with 100% in 1:46. I made this face: . This was like a record for me, as my previous best time was 3:02. I guess 2 months of MZM really helped. :D
I've been playing MZM abunch, but i had an urge to play fusion, so i'm continuing my run. I KNOW I will get 53, maybe 52, and possibly 51(but I doubt it) I'm also practicing my single segment run, but I don't have a clue what the final product will be(my guess is 54). The thing about single segment in fusion is, you have to be VERY lucky along with a ton of skill, my current best single segment time is 0:56 but I think I already posted it....
Ive always liked 100% speed runs better than any %, especially in Fusion, with the increased damage rate. I find that i cant ever speed through the game without items. :(
Well, I finally got past Yukaza, and I'm saved right before Nettori with 35,and about 12 seconds 'til 36. I went ahead and beat the game without saving from that point, and easly got 53 with a ton of mistakes, and slow boss fights, and about 30 seconds to spare :) . I know I can and will get 52 on this file, but I seriously doubt I will get 51. When I record, I will try as hard as I can to get 51, and i think I'll be able to, seeing as how I can remember letting a few things slide in this run that could have save quite a few seconds. BTW, how goes the recording WD?
......................................................................................I did it! Time: 0:52. 8%. With about 25 seconds to spare! I'm saved with 41 at the savepoint in AQA(the same one that nate saves at in his run) I went ahead and finished it, and got 52. I think I only wasted about 20 seconds, so i don't think i'll be able to get 51, But thats okay with me.....for now anyway. When i record, I'll try harder, but I'll be even more motavated if WD gets 51 in his recorded run.
I guess, I'll just practice single segment runs now, and they are good practice for any % runs anyway.
EDIT: I didn't want to triple post, so I just edited. New single segment time: 0:54 with 12%. In regular any% runs, I finish with 35 missiles, 10 Power bombs and three E tanks. In single segment runs, I grab three more E tanks, and another missile tank.
