Yeah... I try to make attempts as much as I can, which hasn't been a lot actually. The only problem is getting through it; I feel that the first time I get through it I'll have :53. Sorry for making you guys wait (doubt me).

I Never really got too focused into speed runs, but this is the only game I gave real thought into.  My clear time was an okay 1 hr. 29 mns.

My best time is 1:50 100%.

I am pretty sure this not my final time. My time is 53 and 15-20 seconds over. I completed this SA SHIP-END in at one sitting. Of course couple save. One before Nettori and one before Security robot. and one before Sax.

No Omega quick kill because this not drop my time 52 minutes. I trying that crazy 5 hits SAX kill, but this not really working. I use orginal method against SAX.

But i go try improve 15-20 seconds yet. I can get 52 if i working that enought. Wink

If you only needed to save 15 more seconds, then you could get :52. Just use the 5 shot method and the omega quick kill. If you need even more time, then perhaps you could try double shots on the eye core-x.

It is definitely good idea, but some reason SAX 5 hits kill is much harder what it looks. And i erased save file before SAX. I have 2 copy Samus aran ship and one copy Before Nettori. My Yakuza is very possible improve, if boss open his mouth bit faster.

Is that eye core-X double shot possible on console?. I think it is just as crazy/impossible as double eye door shot.

I'd say the double Eyeguy shot is at least plausible, so long as you get really good at double shots. And have it set up well.

I got 1:12 11% a couple days ago, and now I'm doing another run where I'm only two minutes over the record at SDA. Unfortunately, though, I'm only at PYR.

Best time: 0.52 :P

-16 segments & 9% item (3et 40m 10pb)
-I think this not very high 52 minutes. About 40 seconds over i guess.
-I even can say i can get very high 51 minutes, if i can get perfect Nightmare battle and SAX 5 hits kill.
-That SAX 5 hits kill doesn,t work. I test that many times already, but i don,t have any change made that trick. Hardest 2d metroid trick ever what i trying. :) But this itself not drop my time 51 minutes, i don,t need that this time.

-If i have time i play that end part again my GBA player, i can get screenshot my completions screen. I think this is my last any-% Fusion run. This run was totally awesome. I working 2 weeks and i finally get amazing run. I don,t still use double core-X shots expect Archanus and eyetube. Both easiest double shots in the game.

I really can say 48 is very possible time. But only if you have amazing skills/luck. I wait you Biospark. grin new

Best time single segment: 0.54

-2 minutes slower than my segmentd
-2 minutes faster than my previous SS run

-14% item (7 ET, 45m 10pb

-There is alot mistakes almost everywhere. I am pretty sure this time is very high 54 minutes.
-Many boss doing good. I am happy my Serris fight. this time i kill him 2 charge shots only. Most bosses doing good.

-I have overall good eye door luck. Most door open first tries. Nigtmare room was only bad. It shot 3 beams.

Bad parts:
-Bad luck Archanus (2 wheel attack) and Eye tube boss jump at least 10 waste jumps
-I miss all double core-X shots
-Big core-X battle 8 hit kill and very bad enemy locations after this
-Ice missile segment. there is one stupid major mistake, cost me at least 10 seconds.
-One big major mistake in habitation deck cost me at least 10 seconds.
-Escape sequence 4.11 time remain. My best is 4.23.
-I have very bad luck Yakuza first form. Luckily second form was best ever.
-Under water area includes lot little mistakes everywhere.

This really surprise how much time all saves take time. This run is not that masterwork. Still i lose only 2 minutes my segmented run. I can seriously think if many things working as good as i want. I can see my SS goal 52 minutes in near future.

I think my first serious SS attempts were about 0:57, so you are doing very well!
I was suprised, how much time all these saves cost, too

You are such a good Metroid-Player overall, so I am sure you can do it in 0:51, since even I can reach this time ;)

But I think, you should drop the percantage of the collected items. 7 ET are not nessecery- I always collect 2 ET in my SS runs.

Yeah you are right 7 ET is bit too much. But i get 7 fastest energy tanks. I hate died in SS runs especially Fusion SS run because it is borring start that again and again. Too much navigations rooms and elevators here :x
1 & 2 Before Archanus
3 moph ball tunnel SRX
4 Before Zazabi
5 Before Big Core-X
6 Before Yakuza
7 Nightmare room energy tank (using fast method to get)

Still i need at least 5 energy tank in SS run or i need play much more cautions, i died alot my segmented run when i have 3 ET max. But why you get only 2 ET secretkey? There you can get automatically 3 ET.
1 Archanus Et took 2 seconds
2 Big core-X ET only 0-0,5 seconds
3 Yakuza ET. This is hard skip without hi jump ball. This took at most 2 seconds to get.

Absolutely no reason skip these energy tanks. Especially SS run.

Well I usually jump over the one before Yakuza, because why wasting 2-3 precious seconds, when I only need 2 ETs.  Wink  Maybe I played this game too much know, but fortunately  it happens very rarely, that I die in SS any% run.

Remember, every expansion takes off 2 in-game seconds (or 2 seconds and 8 frames real-time) for the "energy/missile/power bomb capacity increased" message. And then if there's a detour to get it, that's even more time wasted. The only exception is the one before the Mega-X, if you can set a bomb on the bomb block and get the energy tank while waiting for it to explode, that's slightly less time wasted

BEst time 100%: 1.16

-This run is done very well. 6 minutes better than my previous 100% run
-I think i can get high 1.15 ending yet. But this requires very good second last segment.
-Second last segment is very hard complete fast enought. There is lot hard trick. Just like Random PB expansion. Took 1-2 minutes to get In Wassup WR run. I get that my first tries, but it took alot restarts.

-this not look my 52 any-% run. I don,t have much patience manipulate Ripper manipulations. I really dislike 100% run on Fusion. game is full amount manipulate luck, enemy locations
-Still there is not major mistakes and i am overall very happy with this.
-This run is done in 22 segments (21 savepoint using)

My best 100% is still 1:19. I can't remember the segments, though. I just remember trying to do a single segment to beat DaveB (after the 1:13 came out) and failing miserably. >_<

I think my best time is still a :56 1%. I can probably improve that if I ever get back into the game. It just requires so much more patience than ZM.

Yeah SS run can be done faster.

I use 21 save points. avarage save took 8 seconds game time. Save back of corner took almost 10-12 seconds. I lose my saves 2-3 minutes game time. I still think Wassup WR SS run is very well done. I think my run looks like 1.13 SS, but there is save use. I watch wassup run last time over 2 years ago.

100% is really hard beat perfectly. I think i try 1.15 ending yet. I don,t know can i get that. Probably i go try 100% SS run in near future.

I think you can get faster than 1.11. Wink Wassup made 1-2 minutes mistakes PB expansion room his 1.13 run. W/O that  his time is 1.11 as well. I think 1.09 is good SS for you. You are only real Fusion Master what i know.

Anyway. 1.16 is good for me. I am extremely happy if i can see 1.15 time. laugh new
