Strategy Guide Writer
In Arcterra Visit 1, for switch no. 1 (after Noxus), just standing under the door and jump up while scanning. You'll catch the first lock and will still be scanning on the fall. Leaving you to scan lock 6 straight afterwards. :D

Oh, and that Ice Hive trick is a pain in the arse. Does anyone have a video of the rocket jump to the Judicator? I can't seem to get the height needed, so I've been relying on the DBJM from the nearby ledge...

the ice hive trick is easier if you push yourself up the wall with the battlehammer to the ledge...

the rocket jump just has you shooting a normal missile as you walk off of the tall pillar, then jumping. Dont bother charging a missile, becuase it gives more height than needed, and it wastes time...

i found it easier using a normal missile.
I'll get a video of the Judicator via RB tonight, then send it over.

Alright, I'm done with most of my college work, I can back to running. What's this SW in Echo Hall to skip getting the key? I checked the SW topic and they seem like totally different tricks.
you need to use the mb boost trick found by primetime to get in the front tunnel. then walk where the zoomers are, here you need to find a specific spot where you can jump normally. when you got it, you need to use a charged super missle in the spot, and when you blast up in the air, jump a second time to reach the ceiling. then just get the artifact.

that specific spot is somewhere at the turn you make to get to the small zoomer room. you need to push yourself against the wall to do it i think. that's pretty much it i guess

Well I think I'll never finish this run, this trick is a huge timesaver and I can't seem to land it. Seems pretty random.

The Arcterra Part 2- VDO Part 1 can be mixed up if you want but I think that by doing VDO Part 2 before 1 can let you have 1 less Hunter (Sylux) in the Planets.  And it's pretty much madatory to finish Arcterra Part 2 as soon as possible (or at least, get the Imperialist) because of the Imperialist deals OHKOs to Guardians and Hunters, which is better IMO than the VoltDriver.
Does the bs "A zoomed in shot does double damage" rule for the Imperialist apply in single player too?
Yeah, Zoomed in Head shots are OHKOs while unzoomed arent.  It's not that hard, just stand still when the guardians are shooting at you, they'll stand still as well.  Just make sure they arent shooting the Battlehammer or Magmaul.
You don't need to use a missile/super missile for the speed trick in Echo Hall. Also, in single player, a zoomed Imperialist headshot will kill all hunters and most guardians, but some will require two or three zoomed headshots.
No, I'm pretty sure that its a OHKO on all.  You see if the Guardians/Hunters are too close to you (like right next to you) and you aim with the crosshair on your screen at their heads, you wont hit their head.  You're suppose to have your arm cannon aiming at their head to get a surefire headshot.

its not. I've done imperialist headshots on the strong version power beam and imperialist guardians and it took off 1/3 of their health.


a no-scope headshot should still kill instantly. A sniper's power doesnt increase the further you scope in. -_-

for Multiplayer, just back away from them and when you have your crosshairs on their ugly mug, just zoom quickly and fire (not that ive played multiplayer, but that works for guardians).

Doesn't make sense, but yes, zooming in DOES increase the damage the Imperialist does. If you shoot someone in the head with Imp., it's 100 damage. But if you're zoomed in, it's an instant kill.

Then you should indeed play Multiplayer more. It's the good thing about the Imperialist, zoomed in does more damage. Try it on a few bots. Wink

Well, if a player that you try to headshot hasn't got more than 100 energy left, he will die because the imperialist will do (unzoomed) about that much damage.
