After you encounter Dark Samus, get corrupted, and start your mission to Bryyo, are you never able to go back to the Olympus at any point in the game?  I just found out I missed the last missile expansion there!  ](*,)

umm... there are no missile expansions on the Olympus, olny a missile launcher and a energy tank. and you get corrupted on Norion, not the Olympus. you can go back to Norion anytime (pretty much). and to answer your question, no, your not able to go back to the Olympus.
Anywhere, everywhere
lol, I'd be happy if I could skip the items on the olympus, just to see how the game would screw up.

Ready and willing.
Eh, they'd probably just be lost forever and not actually screw anything else up. Don't see how it could do anything else.

well missile launcher skip wouldn't really do anything because you can pick up an early missile expansion. the energy tank skip would be intresting though, because no one really knows what the game would do when you have 0 energy tanks and need to go into hypermode (ok, mabey somebody does, but thats not the point).

Yeah, I meant the etank.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Well, if it doesn't automatically give you the tank at some point (like Hazard Shield skip), then I'd imagine it would probably get you permanently stuck at the PED test.
my umbrella goes directly to Bankai
i also wonder what would happen if you try to go into hypermode without etanks.

most glitches produce unpredictable results. it could be either infinite hyper mode or no hypermode at all.

i remember that someone used AR to skip magic meter in Majora's Mask and it gave infinite magic to items that required it later. on the other hand, using items that require magic in OoT without the magic meter just amke them unusable.

so, we won't know for sure until someone can test it.

I think I'd prefer it if it were the former. No health drain for entering hypermode plus getting early ship missiles to skip corruption would be like unlimited hypermode! That would make a low percent run a bit easier. laugh new

Of course, if it were the latter, then a low percent run wouldn't get too terribly far, now would it?

Most likely it would just say you didn't have enough energy to go into hyper mode the same way if you have less than 100 energy with more than 1 tank. I don't really see how that tank will ever be skippable though unless someone finds a secret world and a way to bypass morph ball areas in secret worlds.

That's no problem, it's the sw we're looking for.

I realized the missile expansion I was talking about, that I missed, was on Norion.  :D
If you don't have enough etanks to go Hyper, all it says is that you have insufficient energy tanks or something like that.

I found that out when fighting Rundas on hypermode (the difficulty). Then I died.
