Although im not really far into the game (just owned spire) is there anything that you need to get besides missle expansions and energy tanks? It just doesnt feel like an actual metroid game without having to look for upgrades like super missles and screw attack  :(

There are new weapons for you to find and there are expansion packs to get more ammo for them. Can't really think of anything else right now. :p

It took me a while to discover Magma Drop- and that was hella amusing to do when I did find it :) (there's a UA tank in there)

Think it can be done without collecting any of the energy balls in there?

lol i just found out i missed 2 energy tanks no wonder the boss fights were difficult.
