Get all ending pics in Gallery?

I can never seem to work out the E-Tank in Chozo Ruins, nor the two speed booster requiring upgrades in Crateria, so no 100% for me.

Nor can I ever do Tourian with less than 400 energy or Hard Suitless run with less than 450 energy, so no sub-15% for me either.

And I can't do Hard in less than 3 hours, so no Hard under 2 hours for me.

So I only have three endings. Yes, I know I suck. There don't seem to be any 'menu codes' for this game, and none of the AR codes I can find ever work. Oh, EU copy of game, AR V3.

best suggestion: watch a speed run.

Sorry, I just have difficulty respecting someone resorting to cheat codes and AR just to unlock...ending pictures. If it were anything useful, I might understand. Maybe even if you've been trying for days on end and just can't handle it. Sure, some of them are pretty hard, but with enough practice, this came can't be impossible. Check out some of the tricks in the ZM section of the main site, or some speed runs at SDA and use some routes. Those DEFINITELY help.
Well, if cheating is for you, you could always Google for them.

Or you could...  Get them by beating the game!

i only have 2 endings.
1) easy mode. nuff said.
2)any% in less than 2 hours. i waited for a LONG time just to get another ending and ended up dieing on Meta-Ridley thus preventing me from getting the other ending.
lol no way
Uhm. Why would you want to do that? Just play the game through and unlock them normally... they're there as incentive to keep playing the game, just as any unlockables are, just like Time Attack mode is there. Don't... don't cheat man. That's just embarrassing. And wrong, in my opinion. Metroid games have never had title screen button codes outside of MZM's Time Attack, which isn't really a code anyway.
i think that the only acceptable form of cheating in video games is for pure entertainment purposes. me and my friend cheat in resident evil to see how fast we can beat it. and to mess with zombies. we dont need to cheat, we only do it for a good laugh. that's how it should be for all games. just cheat to have fun. this game is too easy for cheats anyway.

This sounds a hell of a lot like "Or you could just not suck", which you didn't seem to like addressed to you regarding your morph ball run.

Likewise, watching a speedrun and seeing how to do things isn't the same thing as being physically able to do them.  I know how to get that energy tank in Chozodia/mothership, and of course have watched it done in speedruns, but that doesn't make me more capable of pressing down to charge before slamming into the wall, so 99% it is for me.  I don't really expect to get more than two ending pics ever, three at the most if I break myself of the habit of being slow.

But I agree that cheating to get ending pics is stupid when you could just look them up online.  With the pics themselves easily findable for viewing the only reason I can think of to want to get them on your cart via cheating is to misrepresent your accomplishments.

i just don't know why having a bunch of silly pictures would change your enjoyment/appreciation/whatever for the game. hell, i don't even have two or three of them because they mean absolutely zero to me. if you're going to cheat, make it worthwhile; walk through some walls or speed boost through mecha ridley or explode or something. much more fun.

There's a difference between sucking at something difficult (And without infinite bomb jumping, a Fusion Morph Ball run is not easy) and not wanting to play the game.  I highly doubt anything here on M2K2 was discovered through people giving up.  If he asked advice on how to get them...  But, alas, he asked for AR codes to unlock the endings because he didn't feel like doing so legit.

Sucking & giving up:  Two different things.
Take a break and watch some speed runs. 15% normal is not near as hard once you beat hard on any%, as it is straight to the point and not too much harder. and if you think you're discouraged now, imagine how much I was when I got 99% in 1:54. it turned out I missed a power bomb tank in crateris. that was going on my own route too.

well, looks to me like you definitely have a good chance on your own there. I've had something like that IIRC on some games. Surprisingly, it doesn't take THAT much planning to sub 2 hours (compared to 1 hour), yet it gives you a nice satisfaction to find your own. That's what it's all about.

Which of the three? If its the one in the shaft with the chozo shutters, just smash down as you shine foward.  The one before meta ridley just requires a hell of a lot of practice to get off the first run through though.  I haven't done a 100% in a little while so I forgot how to get the one by the very enterance to the ruins (with the pbed glass shaft.

Tags are getting a bit upset with me.
I would suggest saving as much as possible, but NOT backtracking to save. DON'T be afraid to reset if you screwed up even the tiniest bit. Do some tricks like IBJ or wall jumping one one wall to get passed rooms faster. If you really want a faster time, skip tems for the any % runs (like Wave Beam or Screw Attack).

That's about what I did. And it's not because I just better then you (I'm not), I just do the right things. If fact, I had times so high I'm embreassed to show them :P. But Now I unloked the galleries.

(that's for any% and 100% hard or normal, I didn't do 15% or 9%!)

The first of the three you mention.  I've tried that one until my thumb looked ready to bleed.  Maybe it's just the itty bitty d-pad, though I didn't have any better luck on my DS.  The second I managed without much trouble via shinespark, and the third was easy.
I would suggest practice storing your charge in small places. find a place with running room and a small slope near a wall and just see how many times you can store it before missing and hitting the wall. that tank can be hard to get, but once you develop your reflexes you will wonder why you thought it was so hard.

I would also suggest watching a video of someone doing the denied sequence break (easter egg) in metroid fusion, as that can provide inspiration. Watching it sure did help me take on this relatively lesser task.

I've never gotten all the endings myself.  But yeah, I mean you can just find the pictures at, uh, http://www.vgmuseum.com for one.
Or you could always just Google them if you didn't know of that site.

But getting them for yourself is much more rewarding.  If you need to use savestate/slowdown to get them on an emulator, then by all means, go ahead.  We're not going to judge you for it.  What is kinda wrong is using Google/Ar/vgmuseum for them.  Takes away from a big part of what makes Metroid games Metroid.  It's basically the same as someone here not using spoiler tags and you had something ruined by reading it.  Don't cheat yourself, man.

Finding the endings online is wrong now?  Dude, when did the ending picture ever matter?
I meant it's cheating yourself, in my personal opinion.  There's not anything actually wrong with looking them up online, I'm just saying...  It's taking away the ending.

The best example I heard was in the Rules thread over at SCU about spoiler tags.  How would you feel if you're gonna go watch Timmy and his trampoline and you google for images of the movie and it comes up with Timmy dead (The ending scene of the movie)?  It's ruining it!  Just to me, it seems like to me in a way, you're getting something that's not yours.

Besides...  http://img49.exs.cx/img49/8053/Metroid-ZeroMission-Collage-Endings.png  It's not like I'm against it, but I'm still saying you're cheating yourself if you do so without getting them by beating the game.

Samus takes off most of her clothes.
Laughing I know Metroid does the same, old thing for every ending.  But they should all still be worth more than cheating for them.  Besides, aren't the pictures related directly to the time and percent?  If you have a picture you didn't get, isn't that, in a small way, liking getting a time you didn't get?

Not in any way that matters in this case.
