No, I haven't quit working on the run; progress is going quite well actually. I just haven't been around M2K2 much lately.

Anyway, a while back I completed segment 4 of my run (Start of Norfair>Crateria run>Norfair>Save before the Screw Attack) , and it's probably my favorite segment so far, to watch and to perform. It's one of the high points of my run I think, because I do norfair without varia and all that good stuff. I'm posting a link to it here so anybody who is interested can check it out. Here's the link: (Thanks to Nate for getting it up!)

I just finished segment 6 yesterday, and 7 isn't far from done. After that I'll be more than halfway complete with the run. I'm doing quite well with the time too, with more than a ten second lead on my 58:59 run. That doesn't sound like much, but this close to optimal, it is pretty substantial.

Alright, enjoy it, and comments are welcome.

>_> <_<

EDIT: Yeah, great segment and all... though I remember reading that for a TAS at least that it's faster to go the normal route from the power grip back down to norfair...
I've done a little testing on it...there's barely any time difference between the 2 routes. It's all a matter of preference.

Nice job Kridly. :P

Looks good pretty much same as my run only expection is i not use roof bomb trick, and you change one route.

You change couple route, i not know is it faster, after power grip you use same route as ajbolt89 his 10% run, how many seconds this is faster? I use left side route same as Transience.
twenty eight fifty
it's essentially the same. at most, it's a one second difference. i played with it in some of my older runs before i recorded and i found the old way to be like one second faster. i couldn't double bomb jump at the time though.

Finally got around to digging up his post. 'Tis not very detailed, but it's there...
